    • Poorly made bike. Pedal crank shaft broke within one week of use.
The media could not be loaded. Bike rides well as e bike product. However as a stable commute bike not so good. While using pedals assist to get over a hill for the first time in San Francisco. The crank shaft snapped. Rendering the pedals useless. E-bike functions still worked but with the crankshaft breaking upon first use I’d be stranded on a long ride. Bike broke down within one week of use. Manufacturer and warranty are not very responsive. I would not recommend buying this product. Especially for over 1000$. I’m above upset!! ... show more

The media could not be loaded. For the price, I give it 5-star. For the quality, that’s still up for debate. The only reason I gave it four stars instead of five is because the shocks are too stiff and going over bumps on the road is hard on my back. I feel like I need a chiropractor after going over small road bumps, I haven’t even used it off-road yet and I’m afraid to. The tires could be better also, but for what you’re saving you can easily replace the tires soon after they’ve worn off with better tires. Anyway, the usb port on the battery packs will not work on modern phones that require 15v to charge. If you have an iPhone 10 or above that means your phone isn’t going to charge. I haven’t tested long range yet, but I went on a 30 mile cruise the other day and I only lost one bar out of five when I got home. So the range on this bike is pretty good thus far. Great for a first time e-bike purchase. I might end up selling it for a better one in the future, but for now this is a great commuter bike around town. I’m most likely going to replace the two rear shocks for softer ones. I like the waterproof bag that comes with it. I get lots of looks from everyone on the road. The seat is comfortable. All the lights and gears ⚙️ work well. I headlight is bright at night. The horn is loud and gets everyone’s attention. Assembly was easy, albeit the instruction manual was not that clear, the Chinese translator could have done a better job of explaining, but it’s not rocket science either. I’m an engineer and former construction worker so I didn’t really need instructions. The major problem I had with the instructions was operating the digital control system. The manual doesn’t explain what certain commands are needed for, it just tells you how to change the settings. It does a solid 28mph and I weigh 140lbs. For some heavier people you might get less speed, but even 28mph is about as fast as I feel comfortable doing. You can definitely feel the bugs sting your face as you cruise around those speeds. I cannot say express how much I enjoy riding my Z8PRO. I can go 60mi on full charge. It's rides like a motorcycle . I get so many compliments on how it looks.
