I'm updating my review. I love this bike. It's scary fast and fun to ride. I have not ridden it much on dirt paths, but it certainly performs well. I've changed my rating to five stars because the company has been very responsive when the inevitable glitches have arisen. They responded to my queries quickly and seemed concerned about helping me resolve the problems I've had. They have been very helpful. A serious glitch surfaced when I could not remove the battery when cold weather hit here. I followed their detailed instructions, but nothing they recommended worked, and I simply could not remove the battery. Both they and I were very frustrated, for sure. Finally, they told me to take the bike to a local repair shop and offered to pay $50 toward the bill. It took a few days, but the $50 plus sales tax arrived two days after I'd taken the bike to the shop. It turns out the problem was not a broken part, but their directions were not quite clear, and maybe I'm a doofus. In any case, the shop had me up and running, problem was solved quickly. I'm a happy camper and would buy this bike again in a heartbeat. I rate their service outstanding; hence the five-star new rating. My e-bike arrived on time, but was missing a couple of fasteners. I've emailed Sasikeibike if they provide the missing fasteners I'll bump the rating to five stars. You really need two people to assemble this bike. Do it by yourself and it will take substantially longer. I followed the directions such as they were. Most of the photos were closeups, which was great except sometimes it's nice seeing a broader view for contextual purposes. Except for the missing fasteners, it took me a little over two hours, not including the start and stops, which were frequent. The assembly instructions were better than most, but sometimes the closeup photos did me no favors. I'd rate the instructions a solid B as there is surely room for improvement. I couldn't wait to ride it once I'd gotten it put together. Bad mistake. Read the manual to understand how to actually power up the system. Also, make sure all the fasteners are tight. I neglected to do that and had no steering on the first attempt, which led to a crash. No injury, no harm done except to my pride, but I'm sure the neighbors enjoyed it. After reading the manual (better late than never, right?) I went for a short ride, and it was a blast. My only criticism was that the brakes were not very strong, but I'm going to attempt to re-adjust them before the next ride. Fingers crossed on that. The performance was excellent; I achieved 31mph, but I think it can go even faster. I'm very pleased with it. My next ride will be much longer; the first was just over a mile. I need to wear the battery down for the first charge and all.

Nice bike, easy to assemble. Well packaged to prevent damage. The battery was fully charged. The seat doesn't stay in place without a lot of force. The 1500w max power claim is good on fairly level ground but for a 230lb/105kg man hills are a struggle. 30° slope max 8-10mph/16kph. If you are over 200lb/100kg a +3000w bike should be your goal, imo. IDK about distance per charge yet.

Have to say fed ex delivery was a nightmare as usual...i really can't stand them delivering bikes that require a signature. The will go to door leave note Like marvels the Flash then u have to be there stalking for them the next day..crazy.. However on the bright side Been two weeks back and forth too work on single charges which is 18 miles all together .smooth ride , feel very comfortable.handles the wind well in East coast in fall .Pedal assist 3 average been great for commuting in traffic stays at 24.5 so can stop easy or coast to stop.no problems so far.and this bike does hit 35 in a matter off seconds if needed..I'm 6 ' 200lb with a heavy backpack and I'm happy I feel that I have the power I need Very comfortable hand grip control..well worth the money.and love the 20 "x 4" tires Thank you Amazon.

I purchased 4 of these. There was an unclear explination about how to use the key in the instructions. I emailed the company and the next day they responded with an appoligy for the unclear expression and gave me the correct information. Great customer service. These bikes are awsome. Very fast, color screens, great stopping power. A lot of fun to ride. I am 69 years old and love the E bike! I was able to hit 32 miles per hour without peddling.

What a great bike this is. It is worth every penny paid for and overall good purchase. The bike itself upon showing up in your driveway is not the easiest of these to put together, but it’s not overly difficult either. If you can read directions and follow them, this shouldn’t be too difficult to put together at all. It’s a bit more tedious than some of the other bikes for sale and the fact that you have to put everything on fenders the rear rack headlights handlebars. I mean, you’re basically assembling the bike almost completely. The only downside I have found to this bike during assembly is it comes with a fairly cheap kickstand? That’s a bit too short for the bike just buy yourself a longer better kickstand and that will solve that whole problem. That being said and out of the way once it’s together and you’re able to take it for your first ride you’re going to be very pleasantly surprised. This little bike has a lot of pep and get up and go. It will definitely take you places that you probably couldn’t have pedal the regular bike. I personally have a prosthetic leg and going uphills is next to impossible for me on a regular bike. However, this one takes me up it with ease. This bike performs really well as in as soon as you start to pedal the third or fourth pedal in the battery assist is already kicking in and it’s a gentle kicking in to bring you up to speed unlike some that that is too snappy. I also like that as you approach the top speed of each power assist level, you can feel the electric motor level out to where it’s actually assisting you but not a lot. You’re still getting exercise however you’re still getting the needed assistance that you wanted. I like that it comes with the horn You’re able to make others aware on a path that you’re coming. It also has a nice bright headlight both have a push button feature, which are easier to get out and use than other bikes where you have to find a button and press and hold it to get the headlight to come on. I really like the color of what I purchased. The white with the blue is a really nice contrast. They’re actually old colors that I really like. I have gotten numerous compliments on this bike as of so far. I would definitely recommend this to somebody looking for an affordable electric bike that stands out above the rest.
