I just received this about an hr ago + HAD to try it out immediately. It came very well packed within 3 separate boxes + bubble wrap surrounding the teapot itself. It arrived unbroken + is perfect in everyway. It looked smaller than the 1500ml as stated in it's listing. I found after measuring that yes, it IS the1500 ml as promised. It could actually hold more when it's lg strainer is removed. It also has a 2nd, spiral strainer in it's spout to probably catch any larger tea leaves.     • A tea pot for serious tea drinkers
The pros for this pot are exactly like they said. The only improvement is, I wish it had a hinged lid. I received it today and had tea in it tonight. the broad base makes it untippable. The wide spout is great for handwashing. the broad spout also makes for a faster pour. It did not drip! (We have a wonderful pot with a long thin spout and actually it takes a lot longer to fill the cup.) But I love that I don't need to have a brush to clean the spout. Would I buy it again yes, but I hope I don't break it I would hate to wait for another one to be delivered. Would I gift it, a definite yes. the packaging was great and I can't imagine it would arrive at its destination broken. (It did take a little longer to get, but that could have been because of the Christmas and New year holiday.) I did find a con, that little spring that strains large particle from the tea is great except you have to remove it to put the pot in the microwave. That is no problem but when the tea is done, when you go to put it back in to serve the tea, it is too replace it. Solution, I put the center strain in a cup and pour into it. so the pot still gets an A+ from me. ... show more

Making hibiscus 🌺 tea in this pot is an artistic experience. Hot Tip: This pot fits under the funnel of a BUNN coffee maker and that’s how I heated the water… it poured in a steady stream directly into the infuser. One point off for two reasons: (1) There is nowhere to store that little spring thing, (2) The website say dishwasher safe but the instructions say for a long service life hand wash. ... show more

Clear glass do you can brew to your strength preference. Also. Am not afraid to pour boiling water in it. My previous porcelain one had the handle fall off one morning after I poured the hot water into it. So far so good with this one.
