This is a great dehumidifier. I was skeptical because it’s much smaller than my last one but it works very well. The tank fills up quickly but it comes with a hose you can hook up for automatic emptying which is great. It was easy to set up just plug and go. Since it’s much smaller it takes up so much less room. Is nice and quiet. You can set the level of humidity you prefer so it automatically shuts off when it reaches that level.

Love this dehumidifier! It’s quiet, easy to use and it’s a great size! I have 1,200 sq feet on my second floor and it really works well. I noticed a big difference in air quality after one day! It’s built well and has 3 modes that are easy to use. Love the wheels for easy moving. It removed the humidity and left the air nice and dry! My space is much much more comfortable. The water tank is easy to remove/empty and return to dehumidifier. Great product! So glad we found something that works great for our space!

First of all, this unit is SMALL. I went back and double-checked the posting for it, and I still couldn't find any physical dimensions until I finally clicked though everything clickable, (if I'd been able to find it before--I'd never have bought it) but anyway, the pics make it LOOK like a full-sized unit. When I saw the box after delivery, I was disappointed, but it was even in ANOTHER box with Styrofoam and bubble wrap, so it was smaller still. Compared to my failed standard dehumidifier, I'd call this one a 'miniature unit' But I thought this might have some new technology that might make it as efficient as my older one, so I thought I'd give it a chance----it DID say it'd collect 21 pints in 24 hours, but LOOK CLOSELY!!! That's in 95 degrees at 95% relative humidity; (is your home that hot and humid?) in other words almost a steam room environment. After following the included instructions, I put this in my unfinished, damp half-basement which had around 70% humidity due to my old unit crapping out last week. It didn't deliver any water until after about an hour had passed, even though the fan and compressor were both working the entire time. Even then, the water was so slow, that this thing ran continuously for 5 1/2 hours and put out slightly less than 3/4 cup (my old unit would drip a couple drops a second and would have probably collected a half gallon in the same time period. I put in a considerable amount of time on Amazon, but still can't find it stated that the unit was made in China (which it is). Returned.

I’ve been using this dehumidifier in my basement (about 1,200 sq.ft), and it's been doing a good job keeping the humidity under control. After just a few hours of running, the air already feels less damp. The smart humidity control is helpful—it adjusts automatically without me needing to check it constantly. I also like that it includes a drain hose, so I don’t have to keep emptying the water tank manually. I bought it because it says good sized for basement. Well, it works great, but the bin that catches the water is so small that I have to empty it twice a day (maybe more but I do it when waking up and when I return from work and it’s totally full by then and turned off so I don’t know if I was home more if it would need to be emptied 3 times a day. The draining is easy, and no leaks. Just wish it were bigger. I know they say the size, but I’m not great at imagining in my mind how bid something is by the words lol.

I’ve been using the Glowells 21 Pints Dehumidifier in my basement (around 1,200 sq. ft.) for a few weeks now, and I’m delighted with its performance. It runs much quieter than I expected. I sleep nearby without being disturbed. I notice it reduced the humidity in just a couple of days. The air feels drier and fresher, and no more Moisture or musty smell. The water tank is a bit small if you’re not using the hose. It fills up quickly in very humid areas, but this isn’t an issue with the hose setup. Highly recommend!
