This hand broom has very soft bristles. It is about 2/3 the width of a full size hand broom/brush and the same length. It works well to clean out narrow areas or as a dust pan brush. It comes with a tether on the end and a plastic hook that I believe is intended to use to hang the brush BUT there are no holes in the hook nor double sided tape, so I had to drill two holes in the plastic to hang the hook. ... show more

I have a few workbenches with relatively rough particle board surfaces, or texture plastic work mats. I had just received a nearly identical-looking brush from Amazon. That brush cost $32 and looks identical to this one, except that it has natural horsehair bristles instead of the synthetic bristles of this brush. Had I only known about this two weeks ago, I could have saved $20! The Wife and I do extensive camping on Padre Island National Seashore. Sand gets everywhere, and this broom is perfect for brushing sand off feet and into a dustpan. The soft bristles seem like little magnets picking up sand and small debris both at camp and when we're at home. This is excellent for brushing crumbs off our kitchen counter and prep area. The construction and quality of this brush is very high quality. Bristles are securely seated in the wood handle -- I've used this quite a lot and haven't had a single bristle come out of the handle.
