Seems odd to rate a broom and dustpan but honestly… I have two in the garage that stink! The pans are never flush with the floor so dirt gets underneath and the brooms are wonky, unscrew from regular use, and the bristles fall out. THIS broom and dustpan combo is perfect! Ultra lightweight. The pan stands up on its own and never falls over. These “teeth” feature on the pan is nice when sweeping hair or stuff that gets caught in the broom bristles. Love this broom/pan set!! The dustpan lays perfectly flat and upright which allows easy cleanup!! I absolutely love that I don’t need to ask for help to hold the pan!!! The broom works great on large or small messed. I know that it may seem weird to say…but I actually include this set in a gift basket when people move into a new house, have a baby, have an operation and other situations where an extra hand might be useful!!     • Comb great but longer bristles can mean less control when sweeping.
My only reason for giving this review 4 stars is because the broom bristles are rather long and therefor flimsy. This makes it easy to comb thru when your sweeping into the dustpan. I had a hard time getting a pile of dry cat litter from under a table where I had to not be above what I was trying to sweep up. I otherwise like the way it stands up and is sturdy in that regard. The blue is nice and the combing works great. Its a good broom dustpan combo, but I do miss my shorter bristled broom a little bit. ... show more

My only minor qualm is that the pieces tend to come loose but that might be user error not tightening it particularly tight. ... show more

    • UPDATE - Love broom/concept, but gotta do something about cheesy handle ....
UPDATE- I super-glued all the joints on the broom handle & and into the head. Literally ran a line of glue down the threads, screwed it together, and let it sit for a day or two. So far, it hasn't come apart. when it does, I'll just glue it again, I guess. Also wish the dustbin was about 2" wider than the broom head ... Overall, it's ok. It takes care of the pet hair on the wood floor factor. Just don't use it for any 'heavy' sweeping! Sure wouldn't buy it again, though! So, bought this after many searches ... I'm a 66 yo American woman, 5'7" ... (Please, no whatever offenses there may be perceived today intended - just facts!) I actually love the broom head - I have 5 animals & and wood floors, so to say that I cannot understand why all my furbabies are not totally naked (due to the never-ending hair factory) is not an exaggeration! This broom head is awesome in chasing down that hair! LOVE the dustbin thing! (Those 'fingers' really do work!) The broomhead is perfect for chasing down hair on wood floors .. it is MUCH smaller/shorter than what you would buy at the store ... but it gets into small spaces my standard broom can't get into. That being said, the downside is - the screw-on handles (WAY too short for me!) are CONSTANTLY unscrewing ... so I'm thinking of ways to fix it - #1 duct tape the joins. # 2 Super-Glue the joints or #3 - buy an entirely new solid wood taller handle (or see if the old broom handle fits), so in reality, it's kinda like why bother? But I do like the dust bin and brush head ... still haven't decided (with my options to 'fix' the issues) whether or not it's really worth the money ... ... show more

Good for pet hair. We have a German Shedder(Shepherd)! The teeth on the dustpan really help when sweeping up her hair. The handle is a little flimsy but it’s easy to tighten. Definitely better than a regular dust pan.
