I make my own vanilla extract and I'm very stingy. These 2 ounce bottles are the perfect amount to let people try it. The bottles themselves are adorable. I love the chalk labels, the pen, and the extra stoppers. I did add a tiny piece of press and seal to double The chances of it not leaking.

I was excited to receive these bottles to start my very first batch of Kombucha. I ordered my SCOBY and starter along with the bottles, so they arrived together. However, I was disappointed to find one of the bottles in my set of six was damaged during shipping which accounts for the rating. I thought about returning all of them for another set but I was anxious to get started on my brew and didn't want to wait any longer, so I kept them. I usually read product reviews before making a final decision on a product, but didn't do that this time. After receiving my damaged product and reading the reviews I see that was common for this product. Most did as I'm going to do, keep it. Those who are making future orders, I caution you to keep in mind there may be damage to your product in the shipping process, so be aware of that before starting your project in case you need to return the bottles and wait for new ones. Other than that the bottles are nice. I like the size and shape which is why I chose these. I also like they came with extra seals and a collapsible funnel. I divided a batch of vanilla extract to give for gifts and it is 3 years of steeping so I want good jars. These are also very cute. Small jars of another vendor showed up in shards due to coming in an uncushioned box but these bottles came with each bottle perfectly cushioned. The only drawback to these is with the wide lip (sturdy) when you pour out of it some will go around the lip down the bottle instead of pouring off the lip. Also I suggest more of a vial type of container if you truly want leakproof for long term use. It is perfect for small gifts used quickly. I have extra bottles and it's giving me great ideas for other gifts. Some labels were creased but otherwise that worked out well too. ... show more
