We had a smaller wine fridge, but it was too small. Holding 6 bottles seemed like it would be enough, but considering the different types of wine we enjoy and the various types of food it may be paired with means we typically have about 6 different types on hand, and the fact that larger groups will require more than one bottle of the same wine and that these devices are designed to keep wine at serving temperature but will not quickly chill a warm bottle, it often wasn’t enough. Holding 12 bottles (the last 2 must be placed cork-in at an angle) makes more sense. You have space for 2 of each of your favorites and space for a few special bottles you’re saving for long term aging in a controlled environment. The fridge is fairly quiet, although I can hear its compressor kick on now and then; it’s noticeable but not obnoxious. The door stays closed well and even has a beeping alarm to alert you to if the door has been left open. The displays stay dark (nice for a darkened room like a theater) so it’s hard to find the buttons with the lights off, but they are easy to see when the room lights on, and the bottles are illuminated well when the internal lights are turned on. Our previous wine fridge used a different type of cooling mechanism so it did not chill very fast nor allow very low temps and the entire fridge would warm up when a room temp bottle was added. This one uses a real compressor so we were impressed by how quickly it got cold and how low a temp was supported. It fits nicely next to our kitchen counter so our favorite wines are close by and with the UV protection offered by the glass door we know that even our older bottles being aged will be safe. The fridge looks quite elegant and fits our decor well.

Looks great and works perfectly! This wine fridge went imn where my trash compactor (15") previously sat and what an incredible upgrade! First of all, this wine fridge works great, and I love the dual zones for red and white wine. I've used it for about two weeks now and it is quiet and cools perfectly!

From how well it chills to the slimness, there is not one thing I can complain about. I LOVE this cooler. It comes ready to plug in and use (minus pulling off the tape and whatnot). I wanted it to cool before adding the wine, and it got cold within a few hours. The front glass door lets you see how many bottles are remaining and it also provides the temperature. While I am not a fan of white wine, I entertain quite a bit, and most of my company prefers white. It holds 12 bottles of wine/champagne. I have another smaller square wine cooler, and it has never sparked conversations like this one. I did put a really nice wine rack on top for red wine bottles. All I can say is BUY THE COOLER!

This little refrigerator is just the right size to fitt into an awkward space in our dining room. It's very slim so it holds 6 shelves of 2 bottles per shelf. It's perfect for the two of us--it's not huge but it's enough for our purposes. It seems to keep a good, constant temperature and it came well-packed so there was nothing damaged or broken. Setup took all of two minutes (maybe less) and I liked the fact that the shelves are adjustable because we have some wine bottles that seem to be "fatter" than others so we could do some adjustments so that the bottom shelf had more room for those larger bottles. It's really good for keeping white wine in particular at the right temperature.
