    • A Very Sturdy Stand That and Allows Plenty of Airflow
I bought a new gaming laptop which was rated well, but has a tendency to "get a little warm" according to user reviews comments. I don't game, but liked the idea of the extra memory for graphics because I have a tendency to have several windows open at any one time. What better way to keep the temperature down than to use a fan underneath the laptop. I had planed to purchase a laptop cooling fan on which a laptop sits, but decided to purchased a stand that would provide adequate room underneath to position a small fan that I already have. Additionally, the stand provides space underneath to store a keyboard, mouse and other items if desired. The stand has plenty of room for the fan underneath to allow lots of airflow. The stand feels sturdy enough to support the weight of a laptop with a screen of up to 17 inches (diagonally). My laptop is 15.4 and is well within the design parameters of the stand. The aluminum stand was easy to assemble and feels adequately sturdy and easily capable of supporting a larger laptop as long as no additional weight is added beyond that of the laptop. I determined which holes would least impede the flow of air to the fans at the base of the laptop before assembly. The end of the stand "arms" are slightly curled, and rubber pads are affixed to the top of the arms. These 2 features are more than adequate enough to prevent a laptop from sliding off of the stand. It is a fact that aluminum is know to help dissipate heat. But as far as the stand dissipating any heat from MY laptop, I don't know how that would be possible when there is no direct contact of any laptop component that generates heat to any point on the stand. It is just a sales point as far as I can determine. ... show more

    • Slower than most but does the job.
Color: Gray
It will do what I want. I only need it to run lightburn for my laser cutter. Set up was fast around 20 minutes. It’s a LOT slower than I am used to but it doesn’t have a lot of junk programs on it so that’s a plus. It feels cheap made but again it works and does as it should.

I grabbed this laptop recently and it has genuinely surprised me with how well it performs day to day. The build feels surprisingly sturdy, it stays remarkably cool and quiet, and everything opens up nice and fast. The keyboard is comfortable for long typing sessions, and the screen is clear and easy on the eyes. For an affordable, budget friendly machine, it punches way above its weight class. Highly recommend if you need a reliable daily driver! ... show more

    • Excellent value, beautiful design and has USB-C charging and pass-through capability
Color: Gray
Appears to be a VERY nice computer, especially for this price. There is a bit of set up that for me, someone not particularly computer savvy, was a little intimidating and at times frustrating, but I stuck with it and ultimately prevailed. It was well worth the effort. This brief review is my first use; I'll keep it short and will update it later. The USB-C ports have "pass through" capability enabling supporting use of a multiport USB-C hub such as are available on Amazon, allowing use of an additional monitor with a standard HDMI cable. I find the sharp laptop display quite adequate; bright, sharp and easy to read. I'm very happy with this purchase, especially at this low price! I've been using it for awhile now. Crisp display and a pleasure to use. ... show more
