I'm always a little suspect when ordering expensive machinery from an unknown company but this looks to be an excellent value. Overall, it’s heavy, and the potential for shipping damage is always a concern. Not in this case. This is the best packed piece I have ever seen. A super heavy weight box with filament strapping tape and hard plastic bands all around. Inside there is lots of Styrofoam, bubble wrap and corner protection from the top to the bottom. The entire unit sits snuggly on a bottom tray you can see in the 2nd photo. All in all, a great pack job. On to the unit itself. The instructions are comprehensive and well written, no broken English anywhere. There are lots of safety instructions, and the operation portion answers any questions you may have. Again, impressive. Of note is the warnings on the box and in the instructions to leave the unit upright for 24 hours. This allows the compressor lubricant adequate time to settle to the bottom of the reservoir and not damage the compressor. The 2 comfortable handles at the top make for easy transport but remember - it is heavy. Two drain hoses are included, one for gravity draining and one for the pump. I'm using the one for the pump - again, unique here. It is a 16' soft flexible silicone hose and it simply/securely slips over a barbed fitting. No clamps needed and no leaks. I had to extend it by about 3' and the 1/4" hard plastic ice maker hose I used simply slipped inside. Again - no clamps or leaks. You power it on and set the humidity by 1% increments, not the typical 5% found on cheaper residential units. The fan is quiet, and the pump is pretty near silent. It has performed flawlessly for the last week. The controls are logically laid out and the led display is large and legible. I have it placed under the stairs in a very large basement and the beauty of it is its low silhouette. It all but disappears under the stairs. It draws a fair amount of current but that's to be expected given that it has a rated capacity of 145 pints per day. It's also Energy Star rated and comes with a 2-year full warranty and 5 years on the refrigeration system. This is substantially longer vs other brands. In summation, it’s built like a tank, works well, hides in plain sight, has good instructions and a strong warranty, and I no longer have that damp, musty basement smell that I had with lower capacity dehumidifiers that didn’t last. Time will tell how well it holds up, but I’m not worried given the construction quality and the long warranty period.

I bought this Moiswell commercial dehumidifier as a gift for a close friend who recently moved into a house with a pretty damp storage basement. After just a few days of running it, he called me to say it was one of the best gifts he’s ever received (who knew a dehumidifier could win you that title?). Setup was straightforward, and the built-in pump makes life so much easier—no more having to empty buckets or rig a DIY drainage setup. The long hose gave him flexibility in placement too. He set his ideal humidity level on the panel, and the unit has been taking care of the rest. It turns on and off automatically, and even restarts itself after a power outage, which is great since the unit is in a hard-to-access spot. What really surprised him (and me when I visited) was how quiet it is for such a heavy-duty machine. It’s been pulling an impressive amount of moisture out of the air daily—definitely living up to the 145-pint rating. The space smells cleaner, feels drier, and there’s been zero condensation on walls or boxes since he started using it. This thing is clearly built to last too. The metal housing feels tough, not flimsy like some others we looked at. It’s not the smallest unit, but it’s compact enough for a basement or crawl space without feeling bulky. All in all, if you’re dealing with moisture issues in a large area—or want to help out a friend who is—this Moiswell dehumidifier is a rock-solid pick. Reliable, powerful, and basically runs itself.

This dehumidifier has been used in my basement during the summer of July, August and a September of 2024. It’s capabilities and efficiency have been outstanding. It beats ANY other dehumidifiers we have had in the last 30 years. It can dry the air in our slightly damp summer basement to the point of a swelled tight door becoming loose and easy to open. The room is a pleasant space most of the time but the Moiswell dehumidifier is a huge improvement. I have this automatically pumping water out to the yard into a 5 gallon bucket. Within 2 days the bucket is over flowing. It’s a great barometer to gauge performance, I empty it and it’s full again in 2 days. My setting is now 43% humidity and the basement feels as good as the air conditioning in the main house With an issue we had this year, Moiswell customer service immediately solved my problem and have provided a replacement dehumidifier via FedEx within a few days. I have dealt with service needs for over 40 years now and no company comes close to the customer needs and support as Moiswell has… I can’t recommend this MP145 more. Their customer service is EXCEPTIONAL. My unit was 3 days shy of 1 year and stopped working. They replaced it via FedEx after verification of serial number and the new unit is working very well

This 145-pint dehumidifier works fast and covers my whole basement with ease. The built-in pump and drain hose make it truly hands-off. For its capacity, the weight is reasonable and the handles make it easy to move around. It runs surprisingly quietly for such a powerful unit, with no odd smells from operation. The size is compact enough to fit into tight spots without sacrificing performance. Sturdy, efficient, and packed with useful features, it offers excellent value for money and keeps my space completely dry, even during heavy rains.

Very simple and easy to use, love the built-in pump and the hose it comes with. Works beautifully... even if you have a smaller space, it doesn't hurt to get something with higher capacity—it works more efficiently and doesn't stress out the machinery too much. This one is worth the money because it will last a long time and can handle extreme humidity.
