The media could not be loaded. This is a multi function portable air conditioner AND heater. It is extremely easy to set up right out of the box. It is quite heavy and it is very well constructed. This is much easier than setting up a window unit and less hazardous. It comes with all the material to vent it through a window and tubing to use for the dehumidifier. The slim remote control works well and is easy to handle. This is on wheels so it’s easy to move from one room to another. This runs quietly and cools things off quickly. I have tried all functions and the air flow is unbelievable. This is going to work perfect for my bedroom! Even my husband was impressed….

This small unit works exceptionally well to cool down the second floor of our house in summer weather. There's a couple of design suggestions: (1.) The outside facing part of the heat outlet venting ends in an open faced coupling that connects to the window insert. There's no screen on this coupling, it sits wide open to the outside. I can only assume that the manufacturer thought everyone would have a screened window. A non-metal mesh would hold up due to the heat of the exhaust. Lacking that any outside bug could decide to fly/crawl into it. I've had to add an aluminum mesh covering to prevent this. (2.) The lower drain plug is very low to the floor so that it makes it difficult to drain water into a pan. While they provide an elongated draining tube, because it's below what you're draining into, getting a flow going is difficult. (3.) The area near the hot air venting will become noticeably warmer, which can negate cooling off the immediate area of the portable A/C unit. Regardless of these things, we are very happy with this units ability to cool down rooms on our 2nd floor that were previously uncomfortable in the summer. Hence the five stars.

Cool setting is fantastic, when it reaches the temperate setting has an auto/eco setting so not running constantly Dry/dehumidifier mode is great and keeps lower level room cold, only downside is it dows not have an Auto/eco mode to turn on and off. I will have to buy a dehumidifier to supliment that setting that has this capability.

This has been a phenomenal purchase. Great options for cooling and it hasn't needed to be drained very often. It is much quieter than I expected. Easy to install, and easy to drain (when needed). I am currently using it in a 330 sqft bedroom with full bath and walk-in closet. Before, I used used in a 430 sqft portion of my attic to keep the temps below 90 and it did the job well. It has been running constantly since I purchased it and I highly recommend this unit for you 300-400 sqft enclosed areas.

within 2 months the unit stopped working. I kept it usually on about 78F and did not run it all the time except when absolutely necessary. The filters are clean and I checked the exhaust as well as the water reservoir and hooked up continuous drainage just to be safe, reset it a few times but nothing is working. I don't know what happened. I bought this to keep my bedroom cool after my central AC died. I hoped this would be an affordable way to limp along until I can get money saved for the central AC. I can't afford another AC unit and I live in Mississippi so it is Hell. Every time the compressor tries to come on, the unit shudders and shuts off completely, then beeps three times and all the buttons flash. It comes back on with only the fan working and in about one minute the entire process repeats. There is no cool air and I cannot even use the "dry" function to reduce humidity so that at least my sweat can cool me. This is kinda devastating. Also, I had to spend an extra hundred bucks or so just setting up the thing so know that going in.

This is a heavy system. Very well made. I like the 4 in 1 usage. We can use all year round. Runs very quiet and you can hear and see in the video. The remote control is great. It's not just an on and off. You can adjust it easily. The window attachment is also very easy to install for Vertical and horizontal windows. We have both in our home. I also like how the vents close automatically when not in use preventing dust and dirt build up. You do not need a drain set up unless you are in dehumidifier mode. Where we live that will not be used.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Does very well and does cool well. It is pretty loud, louder than expected. It does have nice settings on it but I wish it had an app. It also is very unpredictable with how much water it produces. I have paid attention and it really doesn’t matter how hot or humid it is or how hard the unit works. It sometimes produces no water for a day or so but also sometimes will put out several gallons in just a couple hours. I have gotten out of bed with a pond in my floor before after dumping the 5 gallon bucket just 6 hours before.
