Saw several reviews saying this thing was to firm. I actually find it quite soft, especially around the edges (I actually sat down on the side to put on some socks and slid right to the floor). Considering the price I think you'd be hard pressed to find a better mattress in a similar range. It's not a sealy, obviously, but its also a tenth of the price.

I have had this mattress for a while now because I wanted to wait to give my review until I had a chance to sleep on it. I am okay with the mattress but wished I bought a stiffer one for my back, not that this one is a bad mattress I think it would be better if I bought one of the metal beds that it fits on. So, I am not having issues with my arthritis any worse because of the mattress, it is definitely comfortable, but I personally would prefer a stiffer mattress. As for the bed situation, this mattress is too small for the bed and moves the slates then I end up getting a dip in the bed and have to fix the slates again and I think it would be more convenient and comfortable in one of the metal beds. Hmmm, I hope this helps. :(
