The bed was very simple to put together. I tried it with a boxspring first and it didn’t look right. I removed the box spring and though it lowered it, I still had a hard time getting the mattress to avoid shifting. The screw-like things to tighten down the power strip were the wrong size. The threads wouldn’t work and yes, I did ask for help in the event I was doing something wrong. It still didn’t work. The lights are dotted, not a solid strand as they appear in the photo. When I turn them on, I see a dotted reflection on the floor and the imperfections are very obvious. I will have to relocate them to a more suitable position. On my hardwood floors, this bed slides quite a bit, making a great deal of noise. I will have to find felt or rubber leg covers to prevent it from moving. I’m sure it would be perfectly fine in carpet. Is it worth the money? Yes! I would buy it again.

Got this bed for my 18 yr old son. He really enjoys the sleek design. He doesn’t like the look of a traditional headboard/footboard. He also likes the lighting underneath because he can see if he has to get up at night but the light doesn’t bother him when he’s trying to sleep. He is 5’11” and 190lbs and so far after a couple months of use, nothing is loose or creaky
