Whether you want this or not depends entirely on your needs. Are you looking for a gaming laptop? Then this isn't the computer for you. But if all you need this for home/school uses like word editing, browsing the internet, watching youtube, and other lighter-weight tasks then this laptop works fine. I use it for programming and it runs really well for me. I was surprised at how well it was able to run Windows 10 considering how bloated Windows is these days. I did switch to linux in the end anyway so that I could fine-tune the performance but I know that's not for everyone. The keyboard feels nice - I prefer it over the keyboard on a Macbook, though it'll never feel quite as nice as an actual mechanical keyboard. The battery life is pretty reasonable, I've had it for three days and I've only had to charge it once. It will vary on how heavily you use it though. It has *actual input ports* including an audio port, a usb port, a super-speed usb port, a mico-sd slot, and an HDMI port. I am so happy that it has all of these ports. I hate the current trend of using USB-C for everything and having to buy a bunch of dongles for everything. The design is simple and the computer is light weight. I wouldn't recommend droping it of course, but It's definitely not a burden to carry around. The webcam is fine, the audio isn't anything to write home about but I almost always use headphones anyway. Overall I am satisfied with this laptop and it serves my needs well. ... show more

I got this to live in my guest room for when people visit so they can avoid having to bring extra stuff with them. This laptop powered by an Apollo Lake era processor is enough to browse the internet and check email. Streaming is possible although the CPU did bog down while streaming Netflix and MovesAnywhere. Being only a duo-core processor with the antiquated HD 500 GPU this laptop suffers while sharing the 6GB of total RAM between CPU and GPU. Ultimately, this is a gets-it-done laptop at best with no extra bells or whistles. Furthermore, it still uses a barrel plug DC jack for charging. I would recommend this for someone who doesn't need much power for daily tasks.
