Game Changer for the Summer! I can’t say enough good things about this portable AC. It cools my room down in minutes, even on the hottest days, and the airflow feels fresh and consistent. The setup was ridiculously easy,just plug it in, attach the exhaust hose, and you’re good to go. It’s surprisingly quiet for how powerful it is, so I can run it while watching TV or sleeping without any disturbance. The wheels make it super easy to move from room to room, and I love that it doubles as a dehumidifier, which keeps the air feeling crisp instead of sticky. Do not waste your money on this. It cools but will not shut off during the daytime hours & it’s cold in the small 12x8 room that I have it in. I have tried moving it to the middle of the room & even repositioned the exhaust hose in the window still runs constantly even when I turn it up to 80. I’m not sure how the heat works as it is not that time of year yet. I definitely wasted my money!

I am using it to dehumidify and climate control a 20x30 storage unit. I am venting and draining it under the door. This is very effective for this purpose in heat and cold.

This unit can cool a room or heat a room. It has a setting for both just not at the same time. This AC when heating or cooling does not start at max power. It gradually increases its power use the longer it runs. I find this a feature that could save money in power. Once the temp is at the desired setting It does not reach full wattage use to maintain the desired temp. I found this used more power heating then it did in AC mode. In heat mode it climbed to a max or 1240 watts. It took about 15 minutes to reach that 1240 watts. It started around 700 watts and worked up slowly. After about 7 minutes it passed 1000 watts, I could feel more heat it was providing. It Once it reached the set temp power consumption lowered to 90 watts until it needed to heat again. As it was maintaining wattage varied from cycle to cycle but I didn’t see the watts above 1070 watts while maintaining the set temp. This unit is not too loud but louder than I would use in the bedroom at night. My only complaint is quality control. When I first turned on the fan I could hear something loose bouncing around. The noise stopped and I looked in the top area of the fan. I could see a small piece in the bottom. I took a picture to get a look. It is a small shaving from drilling. I was not able to remove it before it went deeper. I don’t know if it is metal or plastic. It stopped getting tossed by the fan after a couple seconds. It is not making any noise or effecting the performance of the machine. Thanks to the picture I know what it is and know it is not something broken.
