I purchased this portable AC for my office after the wall-mounted AC stopped working. This unit is perfect for a medium-sized room and cools the space surprisingly fast. Assembly took less than 30 minutes, and since I have a standard-sized window, installation was straightforward. I didn’t have to cut or modify any of the window kit components. There are also plenty of helpful installation videos available online if needed. I use it almost all day, especially on very hot days when temperatures reach 90–95°F, and it performs well. It comes with both a remote control and a mobile app. I especially like the app because it makes controlling the unit very convenient and user-friendly. Two things some buyers may be concerned about are the exhaust hose and the noise level. For me, the exhaust hose is hidden behind the curtains, so it’s barely noticeable. This portable ac is the best one I have tried so far. It cools well and is quiet. The continuous drainage requires you to elevate the unit well above the drain or it will back up. The thing is very heavy and hard to lift. One problem with these pre-charged units is they need to sit for 24 hours before being started or the compressor will continuously shut down. I let mine sit for 2 days after moving and it is working fine. ... show more

I planned on moving the air conditioner from living room to bedroom as I need it. I have not had to move it from my living room, and my entire 2200 sq foot house is comfortable. I have an open concept ranch, so different home layouts may have different results. The unit runs quiet and setup was very easy. Worth every penny I paid for it, my summer will not be miserable. Received a Frigidaire dehumidifier in the box. It looked nice and still had the tape on it. Unfortunately I had to return because it wasn't what I needed. Once the correct replacement shows up, I'll update this review and give the actual product a fair and honest shakedown.

It works great for my living room and keeps the whole room cold even when it's over 90 degrees outside. It is a little loud, but it doesn't bother me that much. It was super easy to set up. And it was a great price for how great it works and how great the performance is. And I love that I can either use the remote it comes with, or the app that you can download that you can control it with. You can also control it with Alexa. App works great. Blows ice cold air around 43 degrees currently. I am using it for my downstairs which is around 600sq feet and it struggles to cool the entire space down. I would think this is closer to 450sq feet not 700 plus it states. So a bit let down. It is pretty quiet on the highest setting. I waited to see how this unit would function. After re reading the instructions, it does a great job. You can have just the fan, just the dehumidifier or the air conditioner. I hooked up the drain hose because it cools bettter when it’s drained. You have to tilt the unit for the water to run out and make sure the drain tube free flows or it won’t cool well. That’s the only down side to the unit. It rolls easily and is very quiet, Temperature is easily controlled, I get a chill if I leave it in the 64-68 degree range. Cost was a great deal, I did purchase an extended warranty for it because I’d be lost without it in this heat. You’ll be happy you bought this! ... show more
