Perfect for St. Pete Beach Cruising 🌴🚲 From downtown St. Pete all the way to Treasure Island, these bikes are AWESOME. This is exactly what we needed for Florida riding. Our area is mostly flat and full of bike lanes and trails running from the bay to the gulf, and the GOKEEP 1300W fits that lifestyle perfectly. Performance-wise, this bike definitely has some kick — be ready! 😄 It’s powerful, quick off the line, maintains speed easily, and makes long rides fun instead of tiring. The pedal assist is smooth and responsive, and the 20” fat tires feel extremely stable on pavement and beach-adjacent roads. The ride is smooth and comfortable, and we love the color. We’ve taken these bikes out all day multiple times since getting them in December. Functionality is excellent. The bike came with clear instructions and was easy to assemble — the basket, tail rack, and lights were all included, which made the roughly hour-long setup much easier than expected. The controls are intuitive and easy to use, even for casual riders. As for foldability, we honestly haven’t even used that feature yet (and forgot it folded). It is a heavier bike for me to lift up more than a few stairs, but the tradeoff is a sturdy, solid build that feels safe and durable, which matters far more to us than portability. Charging does take a while, but it hasn’t been an issue. We simply charge the battery when we get home, pop it back on in the morning, and it’s ready for the next adventure. The removable battery is super convenient — easy to lock when parked in public and simple to remove once we’re home. Overall, these bikes are perfect for beach towns and bike-friendly cities. We absolutely love them and use them constantly. Highly recommend if you live in a coastal or bike-lane-heavy area like St. Pete. 🌊☀️ ... show more

NOTE: I bought the 1800w model with a larger battery. The gist - this is an excellent ebike for the price, and I did a ton of research. Being 52V with an 18AH battery at the price I paid (550$ on sale) is an absolute steal. It feels powerful, the battery is large, and the bike is pretty gorgeous. GOOD: Setup took about 45 minutes, I have never assembled an e-bike before. The tires are softer than standard bike tires and very grippy, great for light offroading, better for road use. The lack of display was a positive to me, I dont want to worry about sunlight damage, cracking, or complicated controls. The bike folds up into a somewhat compact structure, though it is heavy. I can fit this bike in my tiny hatchback with about 5 minutes worth of effort. BAD: The seat suspension shown in the images is fake. It is a thin peice of plastic slid over the seat tube. This was an annoying discovery, because the "seat suspension" is just two VERY hard chunks of rubber. There is nearly no rear suspension. On the flip side, the seat does go lower than expected because there is no spring in the way. The brakes are not great, but are reasonable. They worked right out of the box without adjustment for me. My accessory box was missing hardware to mount the headlight. A small issue, but nobody likes having to source parts that should have been included. SUMMARY: I love this bike, I was VERY close to buying a Lectric with a much weaker motor, a much smaller battery, and a much higher price. I am glad I took the chance on this bike. ... show more

I live in a very windy area of Iowa, but the wind hasn’t kept me from being able to ride this e-bike. The GOKEEP bike is a solid bike. When the bike was delivered, it came pretty much assembled. Adding the rest, like the seat, front tire, handle bars, front basket and pedals was easy. I didn’t need to use the instructions that come with the bike. I think it took me longer to unpack the bike than to assemble it. It comes strapped down inside the box with lots of foam. love the color. This e-bike handles really well whether you’re on a flat surface or riding around a hilly area. The fat tires give you great traction. It’s fast and because it folds, I can put it in my car and meet up with friends for a group ride. I don’t worry about riding the bike at night because it comes with a good bright front light. I would not hesitate to recommend this e-bike. Can’t beat the price and quality. ... show more

Everything you have read is correct, so I will not bother to repeat it here in great detail. It is snappy and a blast to ride. For the price point, it is solid and utilitarian. However, if you are a larger person, consider a bigger, more expensive bike. I bought this bike for a friend who needed it. He is 6'3" and about 325 pounds. He rode the bike for a couple of weeks, but then it started shutting off periodically and would not start back up while he was riding. I took the bike back, and after my wife and I took it on a few trips, it worked fine. I gave it back to my friend, and sure enough, after riding for a while, it quit again. It would not power back up, and he had to pedal back under his own power. I have determined that his weight overheats the motor and battery, causing it to shut off. If you are under 225 pounds and don't try to use it as a city delivery bike as he did, it should work fine. He kept it in the lowest gear and used the throttle exclusively; consequently, the 13Ah battery did not last long. Ultimately, the "faults" of the bike were mainly the rider's fault. He did not pedal, stayed in the lowest gear, used only the throttle, and weighs over 300 pounds. This bike was simply not built for him. I have the bike back now, and my wife (140 lbs) rides it with no complaints. It works perfectly. ... show more
