Have had the material covered carport previously but had to replace it every year. Decided to purchase this metal carport so we wouldn’t have to buy the material one yearly and to save money. The price was absolutely great for this metal carport. We chose this one in particular because it had the vertical top so the rain would run down and off the carport. Another pro to buying it is that it’s very durable and steady and it has no leakage. We live in FL so we have very heavy wind and rain thunderstorms and hurricanes. We’ve had two severe thunderstorms since purchasing this carport and it met all of expectations as they described. It’s just now hurricane season so we can’t provide any findings for that. We are positive that it will hold up. We didn’t want to screw it down into our cement driveway so instead we purchased ratchet straps from Amazon to secure them down to our ground anchors (also previously bought from Amazon for the material carport). The only thing we will say is that it takes a few days to assemble and you need at least 3 people to put together in the beginning because there are so many different screws, nuts, bolts, washers, legs, brace bars, metal roof sheets. At the end when it’s time to put the lower legs on you need at least 5 people to lift it up and hold it while you are doing it. I’m not sure how other people have put this together with one or two people as other reviews have suggested. It’s definitely not a quick setup lol. Another thing we wish they would provide are extra screws, nuts, bolts, and especially metal washers! Aside from that, WE WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THIS CARPORT. ITS FANTASTIC!!

The video for assembly is exactly as it shows. It’s not hard to assemble but it’s tedious. But with patience you’ll surprise yourself when you finish assembling it. It looks real nice when it’s completely set up. I am really happy the way it looks. The roof is heavy when assembled but with three people you can lift it up easy to set on poles.

The product came quickly and with a detailed list of everything in the boxes. The items were spread of among 3 boxes all carefully packaged to ensure quality. It has ventilation which helps with the strong winds we receive. The hardest part was getting the legs under it due to not having 5 people at the time. Otherwise the instructions are clear and everything was pretty straight forward.

Overall this carport is mediocre at best given the price point relative to other ones available. Putting it together was not terribly difficult but the materials its composed of left alot to be desired. The metal cross members are very thin do not offer the rigidity needed to firmly anchor the self tapping screws that hold on the sheet metal roofing panels. The footings at the end of the cross members are all cheap plastic and a few were broken straight out of the box. I cant imagine the rest will last very long. Additionally, all of the fasteners used to connect the individual panels are essentially peanut screws with 3 threads that I doubt will last even with only moderate winds I get living in Massachusetts. The legs are also a very thin metal that Im not overly impressed with. I'll be very curious to see how they hold up relative to the rest of the pieces. In order to properly secure the roofing panels and top ridge cap I ended up going to Home Depot and spending roughly $80 on addional fasteners because the ones supplied were completely inadequate and simply would not have held up. This carport has a $700 price tag but I would say it's only worth about half that price if I'm being honest. I'd stay away from this product.

Easy to put together, nice looking carport and was just what I was looking for, I did reinforce some of the legs with 4x4 buried wooden posts ref strong winds in Fl. Time will tell how this structure handles the wind.

For the price, the carport is well engineered and I expect it to be sturdy (will update after it has been up a few months). Instructions were good but go over them several times to make sure you know every step as I had to take out some screws in order to get the next step done. It took me a friend several days to put it together, but it's one of those projects that you learn shortcuts as you go.
