This is heavy and does take a while to put together but I wish I would have bought one like this in the first place. I had the type with the plastic tarp roofs that I had to replace every year and with the money I spent on that I could have just got this and saved money. I like the vertical roof where the snow can slide off easily. We did have a situation where the top piece blew off in the Wind but an easy fix is just screw it down. Do you need to do this during assembly or it will be very hard to reach later. Overall very happy with this purchase. Update the pieces towards the ground are raised just enough that it makes it easy to trip over and if you look down to step over them you hit your head on the upper side pieces that's a little tricky to get used to.

I chose this carport over the other options specifically because of the roof style. I have an abundance of trees above my parking area, so any traditional carport with the horizontal panels would have caught and held all the debris from the trees. With this carport, the debris falls right off! It arrived proptly, 3 days sooner than expected, and it looks great! I opted to build the entire frame and then attach the roof last, as I didn't have any extra hands avaliable to lift the entire roof assembly onto the legs as the product instructions suggest. So far, I have no complaints! We will see how it holds up this winter.
