I have young kids that do not understand the laser can hurt their eyes, and I live is SW Florida so working in the garage is not an option. Yet my kids are very interested in this flashing blue light carving images on surfaces. So, this serves two purposes for me. It allows me to contain the fumes and protect my kids' eyes. And again, without an open window to vent it through I bought a 4-inch carbon air filter and got a 3 inch to 4-inch duct adaptor to attach this to the filter. I am missing a dang safet stop. Its on 1 piece not the other. How does this get missed? It didnt break in shipping if it had i could fix. Totally missing piece. All twisted isnt leveled. Worst instructions of anything ive ever bought. 99% positive i will be sending back.

Does what is required, fit well over my xtool, pro's: easy assembly, fits well ! cons: fan could be more powerful, supports could be a little more sturdy, exhaust duct could be a little longer ! overall i would buy again but order a separate fan and duct

This was on sale and I decided it was cheaper than making my own enclosure. Laser engravers can make a lot of stink and toxins so I wanted to vent it outside. This had the nice bonus of the tinted window. I was excited to try this out but when I went to assemble it it was missing the 4 30deg 3-way rod connectors. Not ideal but it happens. I was impatient so I figured I'd have Amazon replace it and I'd sent the incomplete kit back. Today my replacement came it it was also missing the same parts. I checked the instructions, the assembly video, and even found some unboxing videos online to verify that I wasn't missing anything. I took everything apart to see if maybe they were stuffed somewhere else. No dice. So I'm sending this back and I'll reach out to Creality, who I know has reasonably good customer support, for the parts I need. I just didn't want to wait for the overseas shipping to get them. I'm sure I'll be happy with this once I can fully assemble it but that's 0/2 successful attempts to get a complete kit. ... show more

Shroud is big enough for my longer. The fan in it is weak. But as a starter it’s fine till you upgrade. I don’t like the zippers but that’s me having problems with my hands. The is no light inside I am using a desk lamp to light it up. I would suggest getting a board that matches the size of the shroud. Will make your lif a little easier. ... show more

This Falcon 10w was the second-best purchase I've ever made, second only to an Ender 3 v3 SE 3D printer. It was simple to set up and use, and plays perfectly with Lightburn software. I would definitely recommend buying the Air Assist unit to go with it for cleaner cuts and less burn and would also add the cover with extractor venting if you have limited ventilation or little spectators. I would also recommend a 500x500 honeycomb base to avoid desk burnage and unnecessary reflections. An awesome unit and wish I'd bought one sooner. ... show more
