Overall I’m very pleased with this plug, it’s heavy duty and well made, however the strain relief is not suited for large diameter cable unless you remove the insulation. I decided to use my rotary grinder to open up the strain relief to accommodate the fully insulated cable on my Garmin Kracken trolling motor. Only other thing I did was change the screws to stainless steel about 3/4” long on the strain relief to give them a better bite. You can see the screws in the cable clamp, worked and fit perfect. Really appreciate the double set screws on the terminals to accept large gauge wire and the plugs came with 6awg ferrules to make it easier as long as you have a ferrule crimp tool which I got on Amazon for $10. ... show more
