My kids have always been jealous of friends with ride-on cars and tractors, so I figured it was time for them to have one of their own. They took turns riding it on concrete, packed gravel, and firm lawn. It struggled mostly in the lawn, but still managed to go at a reasonable speed. My kids are 3 and 6, weighing about 40lbs. Larger riders may find it a bit more sluggish. Assembly was straightforward and easy enough to accomplish. The bluetooth hookup seems doable. The steering column takes its own separate batteries for sound effects. Driving is a single pedal -- press it to go and release it to stop. There is a forward or backward option as well as two speed levels. I removed one star for a couple reasons. The instructions recommend charging the battery for at least 12 hours, but no more than 20 hours. However, there is no indicator for the battery's current charge. So over- or under-charging will be easy to do. At about $270 when I got it, I also found this to be pricier than most other 12V ride-on cars.

This is a very fun power wheel like car for the little ones. I got this for my youngest as he loves trucks and he was super excited for it. It is made well but is all plastic so I don't expect it to last forever. Size is small so it is really for just the little ones up to age 6-7 depending on the size of the child. It was easy to put together and has a lot of neat features. There is a working radio that you listen to local channels (antenna is not great so most are a bit static), you can sync your Bluetooth to it to play music, there are working headlights, and multiple sound effects. The overall speed is on the slower side but that is fine for younger kids. I could see older kids getting board of the lack of speed. The parent remote is nice too but my son is old enough that he can control it himself with no issues. Battery life has been good. I have not had to charge it that much to get a good amount of play time out of it. I am very pleased with it and expect to get lots of use out of it until my boy grows out of it.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: We're a Ford family and my grandson wants to be just like Daddy and Grandpa! They both have Ford trucks and this was adorably perfect. Ease of assembly: My husband is great at these things naturally, but I helped and think I could have done it just fine without him. It was pretty easy and quick to put together. Fun toy: Our grandson is really enjoying this-it doesn't go to fast but him driving his own little truck is a thrill for him. The photos in his 'first truck' are priceless! Functionality: The battery life seems pretty long, which is good because he is getting a lot of use out of it. Durability: He's been out cruising across the rough yard and it can take a beating. He's not exactly easy on things (i.e. a boy LOL, and likes running it into things) but it is holding up great. Value for money: This price is a little less that I would have expected to pay as it is a branded with Ford labeling. He should get plenty of use out of this without issue. Remote control: He really enjoys being in control, but it is nice that it has remote control so we could manage it if it was in a busier environment.
