Surprisingly good head unit for the money. I bought for the looks in a 67 mustang. Added a small amplifier and wow it actually performs well. Looks like it was there from factory! Controls took some getting used to. 24 hr time is the only option. Bass,Treble, Balance, Fader, Loudness, Eq and Color. Rotates through by pushing the volume knob, but it react reacts very quickly. Garbage product, dead display after hour of use
You get what you pay for. Garbage sound, garbage reception, garbage quality. Screen won’t stop flashing random colors, half the buttons don’t work and the display reads gibberish. Waited too long to install and now my return window has closed, might as well have thrown the money directly in the trash and saved a step. ... show more

Chep, looks good, works.
If you're expecting $350 build quality, buy a Custom Autosound. If you want a reasonably priced radio that still looks old, this is the one for you. Installed one in my '80 El Camino, and have no complaints. Light weight is a plus, as the plastic bezel is all that holds the radio. Classic looks, bluetooth functions, I don't know what more you could ask from a < $30 radio. Update after 4 months of use: Still going strong. Bluetooth connectivity has been finicky once or twice. But again, $30 radio. Overall, still happy with the purchase. Absolutely will use this unit again. ... show more

Simple replacement for this older truck.
Looks like a period radio, Make sure the antenna is good. My antenna was pinched at the cable, no wonder the radio didn't work. Replaced the antenna and now everything works fine.

Has a classic car look
Nice little radio with Bluetooth. I like the retro, classic car look of the front. Fit perfectly in my 1989 Jeep. Wiring was the standard color coating and easy to match. Sounds good and at a good price too.

Smelled like burning plastic
It started smelling like it was burning after 60 minutes of use. The other reviews are right- it looks a lot cheaper in person, the plastic is sort of wavy and cheap, especially the knobs. The display is too dim to see in daytime. It paired easily and stayed paired. Sounded ok too- powered 4 speakers. But that being said, I mostly liked it.
