This power supply is exactly what I needed when I increased the lights attached to that system. It easily powers the lights for hours on end without flicker or flashing. The power supply takes about 1-second to illuminate the lights once powered on. I hooked up 12volt LED light strips in my kitchen and they were awesome, but then my better half suggested I add additional LED light strips to make the kitchen brighter and I said OK, that will be easy... A couple hours later, I show off my handiwork and everyone is "WOW"ed by the new glow. So much so, I spent then next hour cleaning the corners I just lit up because we could see into those corners now. While cleaning, the light suddenly went out. Then it flickered on again, then out... I checked all my connections and saw that I had no shorts or loose connections and quickly realized, I didn't have the power I needed. This power supply fixed the problem.

These simple AC to 12V DC power supplies deliver ~12.35V unloaded. At just above half load of 2.67A they deliver 12.90-12.99V, so they exhibit very little sag and meet their claimed specs. There was no detectable AC leakage into the DC output resulting in virtually no ripple. Shorting the output instantly drops voltage to zero and exhibits no lasting bad effects. When the short is removed, power output resumes instantly. They are equipped with a removable common “figure-8” end power cord and a polarized 2 prong plug at the end that goes onto the outlet. They have dim green LED to indicate they are receiving power. The output cable is fixed (not-removable) and has the very common 5.5x2.1mm plug on it, compatible with typical 12V LED lighting systems and dozens of 12V devices. The power cord is 4 feet 10 inches (~1.5M) long, and is more flexible that usual, which is great. The output cable is 3 feet 6 inches (~1M) long and shows some kink memory from being wrapped up in shipping. I used one of these to power my Lepy (Lepai) 20W stereo amplifier and it plugs right in and works great.
