It keeps my fish finder and nav lights running, no problem. Just make sure that you use a non smart charger. The smart ones over charge and you'll need a new battery.

These batteries work great and they fit in both my Cyberpower CST135XLU & CP1000AVRLCD units. I charged all of them to 100% before installing even though they had at least 90% charge on arrival. I had good results when I unplugged the UPS to test. Time will tell how many years of usable service I get out of them.

I purchased this Truvalux 10Ah battery to replace a 7Ah gel cell battery which had failed. There are several reasons I chose this particular battery. First is that it has the exact same dimensions at the gel cell I was replacing and therefore a perfect fit in my home built portable battery box. Second, increased capacity compared to the gel cell it replaced. Third, even though a little more expensive the LiFePO4 battery has much better discharge characteristics than a lead acid battery. Fourth, the built in battery management system that protects the battery. And fifth, the fact that there is a customer support email address ON THE BATTERY. I emailed customer support to ask what their recommendations were for cutoff voltage and test current to analyze the battery. I received their reply the next day. Good customer service! Their recommendation was 10v cutoff (the BMS will shut it down at that level) and 2a. I decided to use 12v for the test cutoff since the radio I am using with this battery does not like an input of less than 12v. The test showed 9.8 Ah capacity at the 12v cutoff point which as far as I am concerned meets the specs for the battery. I am also impressed at how flat the voltage discharge curve is for the LiFePO4 battery. For those of you who are interested I have attached a copy of the test chart. This is my first experience with a LiFePO4 battery. I am impressed with the performance. I hope in near future to purchase a higher capacity battery for other uses, and it will most likely be a Truvalux.

At 0.5 C discharge rate I was able to pull 124.5 watt‑hours, but it clearly states in large bold print right on the side that it should be 128 watt‑hours. I see others also tested and came up even shorter than I did on the capacity, maybe they were using a higher C rate than I did. Fit and finish are perfect — there was not a blemish on my battery. The labels were exactly centered and perfectly straight. The documentation is nicely presented and well written by someone with excellent English. They even put the warranty information and support email right on the battery which is a nice touch. My mail system refused to talk to the Chinese mail servers so I was unable to confirm if anyone would respond. The manufacturer is Shenzhen Cyclen Technology Co.,Ltd and their rep claimed to know nothing about TRUVALUX. This is a LiFePO4 battery which means it's safe. It won't catch fire, it can only burn if you drop it into a fire. Other lithium batteries are not as safe as LiFePO4. You can see on my discharge graph that it spends most of it's time at about 3.2 volts for each of the 4 series cells, if a battery isn't 3.2 volts per cell then it won't be this safe. Voltage drop was fairly high even with only 61 W being drawn, indicating a high internal resistance. The BMS correctly handles high- and low-voltage cutoff, as well as the over-voltage cutoff, which is not always a given these days. I was unable to test over-current protection, but given the rest of the quality I would expect it to work. The weight is very low at only 36.15 oz, so if that is a critical metric for you this might be a good choice. The price of $38.99 is one of the highest costs per watt hour on Amazon; other sources are likely much cheaper. Dimensions are 3.66" tall (3.84" with terminals), 2.59" wide, and 5.95" long. Testing was done using a 100 Watt wire-wound resistor of 2.6576 ohms and a 6.5‑digit logging bench meter. The graph shows watts (yellow) and volts (blue) over time. The battery is beautifully made with excellent packaging and well-written documentation, but it falls a little short on the key metric: watt‑hours.
