I've used the 3/8 one with good results but you need a drill press or something to hold the tubing to use anything bigger! Might warn anyone that the tubing will burn you when you use this device! It does work ok but I need to practice with these more!

I'm using my drill and even put in hammer mode to see if it made a difference but did not. My understanding of this tool would be I can make a female end on the line set or roll of copper After many minutes of multiple trys I was only left with almost a fared end kinda with any extremely hot end Rele thought this would be a game changer and reduce my fitting usage

After I received this set of boring bits was when I found out that there are basically 3 types of drill bits that will enlarge soft copper for coupling. Boring drill bit we’re not what I was looking for. These drill bits tore my soft copper in many different ways and made it unusable. There’s also the flairing bits that will turn what ever end your drilling the bit into almost into a bell shape. Thirdly there’s the bit that will squeg the copper your drilling into to a coupling. Besure to read the descriptions carefully….
