Appears to be good quality rubber strip. Instructions are easy to follow and works as advertised. Once this strip is bonded to concrete, I think it would be very hard to remove.

We had trouble with water coming into our garage with heavy rains and this seal strip was easy to cut to length and lay down. The adhesive was probably the hardest part to do but that was probably on us and our caulking gun but we made it work! It is definitely worth the time and effort to install in your garage!

I read mixed reviews specifically about the fact that the adhesive is black and looked bad against the gray. I had no problem installing it and after allowing it to dry I took my gasket scraper to the excess adhesive and it came off easily so I am very happy with the results and finish. A couple of things that I did to prep the surface was to hit it with a scuff pad for better adhesion and I wiped the surface down with carburetor cleaner to clean it especially near the tracks where there was some lubricant residue from spraying the tracks and rollers. Had plenty of adhesive left over and I was able to add 2 small pieces next to the tracks to keep any water from coming in at the corners. Looking forward to the next rainstorm to test it out and see if this solves my problem with water coming in under the door. So far I definitely recommend this product.

For 45 years, it annoyed me about the rainwater leaking into my garage. I have replaced the garage doors, the door seals, even attempted to chisel away some concrete to channel the invading water away. Finally! A quality product! Even a caveman like me could install it easily within minutes! And it works! No water in garage! No more sweeping out! First, I lightly wire brushed area. I have a garage floor sealant, and wanted the caulk to stick solidly. Then I measured distance ( twice!) between garage door tracks. The roll was just OVER what was needed, so I cut in half. Laying rubber ( good pliable heavy duty rubber) out, I lined it up as instructed and penciled edges. Instead of totally removing it, I was able to roll one side up on itself while squeezing out the more than enough caulk. That was I simply unrolled it back into place and closed door onto it to hold it in place while it dried. The penciling helped to insure it was perfect. There’s also a yellow line on the rubber to line up the inside edge perfectly- you can gently make corrections as the caulk is still wet. Keeping door closed overnite will ‘ seal the deal’. (Don’t forget to park car outside if you have to go out- driving overstep when caulk is wet will move it! ). There’s plenty of extra caulk, so if there’s any gap between rubber and door frame, pile some caulk in there to make a perfect seal. I put a small piece of Saran Wrap there where I piled extra caulk at edge so it wouldn’t stick to door bottom. Worked perfectly. Rains came after job. Garage is dry- first time in 45 years!

I have had a problem with water getting into my garage when it rains. The door had a rubber piece on the bottom which had cracked. I replaced that and then installed this. I was concerned that it wouldn't stay in place and be hard to install. It actually went quite easy and has been in place several months without a slippage or loosening. The glue included was all that was needed for the installation. I did make a mess when I put it on and have some spots of the glue on the driveway, I think if you are a neater worker that won't happen. The instructions were clear. It has taken care of the problem, but I also have installed a new piece on the bottom of the door which I would recommend.

This product was remarkably easy to use. I also like that the seller included a couple extra feet, so I was less nervous about making the cuts to custom fit to my garage door. Seller was also generous with the adhesive, sending two tubes, when I didn't even need to use one full tube. My sole "complaint" is that the adhesive was black, so it shows against the gray concrete garage floor, in the few spots where I had to move the seal around to get it straight. Clear would have been a better choise, but it's just a small issue. I've now had no problems with water coming into the garage on heavy rain days. And although it keeps the water out, the profile is low enough that neither an aging dog nor I stumble over it.
