These are amazing, I placed two of these on my pc and with a carefully created fan curve you can barely hear them, and my temps never go over 70 even with heavy use, but Please, be careful with these, one of my fingers was almost chopped off by the blades. Keep in mind if you are to put these on a regular PC you will need a 3 amp PWM adapter as connecting these directly do not allow the fan to ramp up to max speed, and when they are at max speed they are LOUD. ... show more

These things ain't no normal case fan. They kick like Bruce Lee so if you get them know what you're doing or be Catious and if it's for an antminer they will do just fine as far as my testing and use cases go. Ran and max speed without issue in my test as well. Functionality is fine.

Installed these replacement fans in one of my Bitmain Antminer S9's. They fit and work perfectly in the S9. The wires are longer than the originals but nothing a couple bread ties couldn't handle. Will be buying a few extras for backups and to replace some beat up ones from used miner purchases.

These fans move a lot of air, but are also quite loud. I got the lower powered 2.7A version, hoping they would be relatively quiet, but they are not. Even at the lower speeds (PWM controlled), they are just really loud. For my desktop gaming PC, this is a deal breaker. I had them installed for a while, couldn’t deal with the noise, then uninstalled them and put my previous, quieter fans back in. However, these can move a LOT of air. I can’t measure it exactly, but they do blow pretty hard when needed. If you’re really using these in an application where cooling is of primary importance, and the noise won’t be an issue for you, they would probably be great. The cord is 16 inches long, which is not super long, but ok. My other issue is that these did not come with mounting screws. I don’t typically have extra fan screws laying around, so I used some generic M5 screws, but they didn’t fit as well. I’m subtracting one star for not coming with screws, and one more star for being quite noisy (definitely too noisy for a desktop PC). If quiet fans are a necessity for you, then you should probably pass on these, but if you need lots of airflow regardless of the noise, these fans should work great.
