Perfect fit for our boat, keeps cool air in and hot air out. Our dog can roam more freely when we are at work. About 5$ cheaper than home depot and Lowes, heavy but sturdy. Holding up even with cutting to desired awkwardness of the boat. Would absolutely buy again over a conventional tarp.

Purchased this tarp because I originally had one of those plastic “heavy duty tarps” that you can get at Harbor Freight, Walmart, etc. to protect my boat from the sun and sand, it didn’t even last 6 months in the sun. So far this tarp looks to be of decent quality, although the tarp does have a strong chemical smell, I don’t think that affects anything. I will come back and update this review at the end of next year’s summer season. Hopefully it will last longer!

Strong material and water proof

We are halfway through the Arizona summer and these babies are holding up fine. We are in a highwind area and a regular tarp would have been shredded in a matter of weeks. These were thinner than I expected but they seem to be coated well and so far they're holding up. They are being used to cover the patio furniture from the scorching Arizona sun that will disintegrate it in one season. If I can get two summers out of them I will be absolutely thrilled, but only time will tell.

Two weekends ago we were heading out on a weekend ice fishing trip. I had literally just bought this tarp to cover our trailer, which is nothing fancy but had never had a problem and pulled well with my Durango. We loaded up the trailer with all of our ice fishing gear, which as anyone who is involved in said activity knows is quite spendy. I fastened the tarp to the trailer using a bungee system that I nicknamed "cat's cradle," and I felt quite proud of my MacGyver inspired achievement. Ten minutes into the trip on I-90, traveling at 80mph, the trailer lost a pin underneath which allows it to tilt for loading/dumping. The trailer went ape sh!t down the interstate, flailing left and right while my husband tried to keep the vehicle on the road. At one point the trailer literally landed on its side, slid along the ditch, and then flipped back up (like a cat, but enough about that). It was terrifying. I can't imagine how the people behind us felt-it really could have been a disaster! When we finally came to a stop, we feared the worst. The ice auger was on top of the two shacks, along with our pelican cooler. Somehow, the tarp did not tear beyond a small rip where the auger hit it. The only real casualty was a crack in the handle of the cooler (we'll call it a battle scar) and there were eggs leaking out of the cooler. Everything else was fine! I credit this tarp with saving not only our stuff, but maybe the lives of other people. We kept it as a memory of how Murphy's Law follows our family everywhere we freaking go.
