This was a decently sized large heavy-duty tarp. Purchased the 16 mil 10x20ft brown tarp. It is waterproof and kept water from touching the material underneath. It has metal grommets that can be used to secure the tarp to your item or to itself to protectively wrap around your item. It has held out well in the sun and the morning dew. This tarp is 16 mil thick and the 12 foot by 12 foot size makes it versatile for lots of different uses. The grommets are solidly made and the diameter is larger than most so the size of rope you can use is heavier than for smaller grommets. The entire perimeter is reinforced with what feels like a large weave mesh that is completely enclosed and feels like it will keep the edges intact even in stormy weather. I got this tarp to use as a boat cover. It is heavier then the ones that I usually buy so I predict it will last one season maybe two with no problems. Great 10x20 tarp, I would have liked to get the 16 mil but the 10 was all I could get and I believe it will be fine.

Great tarp we actually used this to replace our canopy cover. It fits super well it's super thick which is great because we live in a sunny high wind area. There are a bunch of loops so we were able to ziptie to our current canopy structure.

The good parts are all there, but it is not skillfully put together: the reinforcing cord that runs through the edges does not reach both sides of any of the 4 corners. The grommets are not consistently placed in regards to distance from the edges. Each of these would be sad but somewhat allowable in a less expensive tarp, but at $44 this one needs to be better made. ... show more
