They work on the electrical side and they light up okay..but every time during a drive it starts to either change colors and flutter as if it doesn't work. And when it settles it changes between the custom color and red. The app is absolutely janky and never connects. Sometime sit never works and so the lights always stay on red.. not worth $50+..

First off the wiring is super easy thanks to the daisy chain setup, not like the others where you have to run each light wire to the front. Super clean look, no bunches of wire you have to hide. The lights themselves are bright an durable. The app is awesome, endless colors and lots of presets patterns. These have to be one of the best budget light kits you can get.

I installed this on my Jeep Gladiator. I used the six pod set up. I did it mainly for the white light function as extra illumination when im trail riding at night. The other color lights were just an afterthought. The were easy to install though it will be different for each vehicle. The separate connections are solid and waterproof. There was plenty of wire to run each pod to a desirable location with extra in some spots. I did not wire in the brake light function because it was not needed for my application. Lights are bright, housings are sturdy. Directions are not great but plenty of videos online with similar product installs will get the job done for those not mechanically inclined. The app is trash and requires a subscription to unlock all the features but the included remote functions are enough for me. I can switch between the red light that you see in the picture that i use in town and the white light that i use on the trails. There are plenty of other colors an settings that can be accomplished on with the remote. All in all great product for the money.

Not your typical use for these lights but I think they turned out pretty well. Trailer used for hay rides. I will be pulling trailer on trails sometime at night and I need to see the tires. I used the eight light set and they worked great. Easy to install and plenty of light. Would definitely buy again!

Overall, it's a good product. However, I've had numerous times where I have turned off the vehicle and lihhts, came out in the middle of the night and the lights were on when my Bluetooth on my phone was connected. Somehow it was still turning it on even after I've turned them off. I even left on vacation with them off. And my neighbor said that they were on while I was gone and then started changing colors on their own. I don't know if it's a bad controller or what. But it's really annoying to know that you've turned off your lights for the evening, come out in the middle of the night and you're rock lights are on. Then I've noticed if I have it on a certain color like a light blue to white, they will start flickering. I learned that if I unplugged one of the one in the end it stopped. However, if I change it to a more darker solid color, it also stops. I don't get it. I have the 8 set. And they really do look amazing when they work properly. But I'm afraid to turn them on now. Because I don't wanna have to worry about having to turn them back off. I've literally had to disconnect my Bluetooth at night on my phone. Just to make sure that for some reason. It doesn't accidentally turn it back on even though I've made sure that all the switches are set to often the app. I will say though that you can probably leave the month for days before it will drain your battery.

I didn’t like the strip lights I put on my trailer previously so I looked at these rock lights and am glad I did. My trailer is 38 feet long so I thought four on each side would be enough and it was. I also purchased the extensions to go with this but I actually didn’t need them. They are bright and light up the ground beneath the trailer well. There are many light patterns available and different color combinations.
