Why did you pick this product vs others?: I installed this underglow kit on my 2014 Fj Cruiser and have been really impressed. I previously tried a few cheaper kits, including one from Brand X that lost adhesion within a week and another with dim lighting. This one is much better — it splits into two 20-inch strips, which gives great coverage on both sides of my truck without needing extensions. Installation was pretty straightforward. I cleaned the mounting surface thoroughly with isopropyl alcohol and let it dry completely before applying the adhesive strips. The flexibility of the strips made it easy to fit around the contours under my truck. The wiring harness was intuitive and fit well with my existing setup. After about two months of driving through rain and dust, the strips are still firmly attached and the light output hasn’t dimmed at all. I’m very happy with the quality and durability for the price. Pros: ✅ Wide coverage with two 20-inch strips at front ✅ Strong adhesive that holds up well in wet and dusty conditions ✅ Bright and consistent lighting ✅ Flexible strips and easy installation Cons: ⚠️ You really need to prep the surface well to ensure adhesion Overall, a great upgrade for underglow lighting on a truck.

The media could not be loaded. Great product. The price can't be beat and the quality seems to be there. It's took me about 8 hours to install, but it was because I did a professional install. I used a fuse tap (not included) thats keyed to avoid a battery drain, and a replaced a blank factory plate with a switch so it looks professional inside as well. Outside after cleaning the car and rubbing down the locations where they would go with alcohol, I removed the fender flares, and bumpers to run the wires so everything is concealed. I used the 3m to stick it in place and then used all the little holders to lock it down. The screws that it came with were super hard wo work with, so I went and bought some nice stainless steel screws and used them instead. It looks great and hope they hold up, but my initial thought is that they are great buy. You get a lot for the money.

I've put these on 2 cars Best bang for your buck They get better every time I order a set Always enough wire for 4 door or 2 door cars Hardest put is hiding wire Work off Bluetooth and a app Think like 110 different colors changes Can change brightness and how fast it goes Way cheaper than type s for the same thing they sell When i installed this time the 3m tape was very very good Will definitely buy again

The media could not be loaded. I bought this to replace a pair of white led lights I installed as running board lights. My intent was to use all 6 strips, 2 across the front, long ones along side and 2 in the rear (‘19 Tacoma) the fact that 3 strips are all connected together in a straight run on each side then connected to a Y adapter made it difficult to fish through the engine compartment. Would have been nice to have some type of connector at each strip so your only fishing a thin round wire, not the LED strip as well. Since I was installing this on my back in my driveway with no lift I got discouraged and wound up cutting/soldering just the 2 long runs and just replaced my running board lights on the sides. I have it wired to trigger from “unlock” on my remote or when I open a door. It times out after a minute. That’s all I need. I’m happy with the product overall. Bright. There’s 122 patterns and you can change up the speed and color of the patterns. A lot of the patterns are repeats just different colors but selecting through the presets gives you a good idea of what’s available. One tip I’ll give you…I didn’t want to screw a bunch of holes in my truck with the little brackets they give you, so I just used the attached 2 way tape. BUT I prepped/cleaned the surface I was sticking too then used Adhesion promoter then applied the strip. They will stay put until the day I replace them for the next cool version…

I was very disappointed in this product. First of all the description is misleading. It describes 6 pieces, however you only get 2 long light strips instead of 6 separate light strips. Not only that, I bought 2 kits for 2 cars and the lengths were not consistent between the 2. The second kit had such short light strips, I couldn't even use them. I would not recommend this product to anyone.

This kit looks fantastic first of all, I would definitely recommend getting it for any vehicle. When I installed it originally, I set the Bluetooth connection and transformer lil boxes that are attached to the chords just right on top of the splash cover under the engine bay. But the first time I drove in the rain the transformer box went bad from getting wet. HOWEVER, amazon was great about replacing the product at no charge and with next day shipping, and I learned that I needed to secure those boxes a little bit higher up in the engine bay to avoid getting wet. No problem! Ever since then they have been working great. It took me about 3 hours to install total but you could get that lower if you have good car jacks. The tape doesn't work great but it holds it on there long enough for you to be able to screw on the mount things that the kit comes with. Just expect to do a lot of screwing, that's what took the longest to do. Also, I would recommend wiring it like so (IMPORTANT) wire the negative to the negative part of the battery and wire the positive to the fuse for your headlights, super easy way to do it with no soldering, plus it won't trickle drain your battery like it would if you wire it directly to the positive and negative of your battery, plus then you can switch the lights on and off by just turning on your headlights. (It feels super cool and fancy I promise) The lights look amazing and I get people looking at them all the time, Even with those small issues I would still recommend this kit 100%
