It strikes the perfect balance between flexibility and durability. I’ve had thinner tarps that tear in the wind or degrade in the sun—this one holds up. It’s clearly UV-treated and water-resistant, with reinforced corners and sturdy grommets that make it easy to tie down securely. Usage So Far: Covered my riding mower during a week of heavy rain—bone dry. Used it as a base layer under a pop-up tent while camping—no moisture seeped through. Draped it over a woodpile for a month and it still looks like new. Details That Matter: The grommets are evenly spaced and don’t rip when pulled tight. Doesn’t have that overpowering chemical smell some tarps have. Rolls up easily for storage and doesn’t crack or crease badly in the cold. I bought this to provide shade under my gazebo. It was easy enough to install and tide down on the edges, but the slightest amount of wind would make it flap around. A modest amount of wind made it flap a lot with considerable noise so I had to weight it down. It was not the best choice for my chosen my application but it was the least costly of several options. Overall this tarp is a good one and the price was fair, but when it wears out from the sun and the wind I will go something else a little more sturdy.

Best tarp I've ever bought at any price. Living in the desert you do not want or need a dark blue tarp or dark grey you need white. One of the only ones I've ever found is perfect to the desert heat (113 tomorrow). I bought it for my homeless friend to camp under and I'm sure the temperature is at least 20 degrees cooler under this than a darker tarp positive. If you are looking for a sturdy tarp this is it!!!!! We have had this tarp on a multiple chicken tractors in the Texas heat, thru snow, window storms (60+mph) and it has with stood all of it without one rip. It is still waterproof and keeps the sun out. These are amazing! I highly recommend them.
