Mattress reviews, whether positive, negative or somewhere in-between are almost worthless without information about the buyer. For example, I’m a 75-year-old male, 5’9”, weighing 225 lbs and use an adjustable twin bed frame. I’m a 90% side sleeper and 10% back sleeper, head slightly elevated. I have a bad back. The quality of my sleep on this mattress will be much different from an 18-year-old, 4’11” 98 lb person on a fixed frame with no back issues. So, when I read reviews, I look for someone that is as least my approximate size and weight. In the absence of such information, reviews really aren’t helpful because there is nothing to compare them with to make an informed decision. For me, this 10” mattress replaces a 9” firm, all foam mattress that’s gone soft over several years of use. I bought this one based on its construction and 10-year warranty rather than its reviews or firmness rating. Its multiple layers tell me that careful thought was put into its design and the warranty tells me that the manufacturer has confidence in the quality of materials used and its manufacturing methods. According to research, medium firmness is best for bad backs. Time will tell if that’s true for me, though the first night’s sleep was a positive one. It was firm but quite comfortable. Though the edges of this hybrid mattress are soft compared to the center of the bed, the coil springs actually helped my elderly body get out of bed in the morning. It was like putting “spring” in my step! That was a pleasant and unexpected surprise. I had no such experience with a foam mattress, even when new. This mattress had no bad smell and performed as instructions said it would when unrolling and expanding to its full thickness. Initial experience was very positive. Time will tell about how durable it is. I consider it a very good mattress for the price.

I purchased this mattress in the twin size for a temporary sleeping situation until renovations are complete on my living area. I have been sleeping on it for about 2 weeks now and I have no complaints. I am 58 yrs old, weigh around 160 lbs, have had a spinal fusion and deal with chronic pain. I can say that, so far, this mattress has not attributed to any increased aches or pains, nor is it hitting points on my hips (I'm a side sleeper) that cause pain. I previously had a Beautyrest Black king mattress and if I'm keeping it real, I may repurchase a larger size of this particular mattress once I move rooms again. The set up was a breeze and I did it myself. I had doubts about a mattress that came rolled up and compressed in a box, but those fears were unfounded. I may stop back and update as time goes on and if anything changes in my level of satisfaction with this product. If you're on the fence, I'd say go for it...the price is reasonable and and it seems to be a solid product.

I really am happy with this purchase. It’s more than I thought it would be honestly and I’m glad I took a chance on this mattress. I bought it for the guest room, so I won’t be sleeping on it, but I laid down and it was quite comfy and firm—having a great balance between the two. The dogs also approve! The only Con I would have to say is that the mattress is very heavy. It comes in a large box and may be hard for some people to lug it around their house, but it wasn’t too bad. For the price, it’s honestly perfect. Just read the directions and air it out for 72 hours. In the pictures, it was only twenty minutes after I opened it.

I couldn’t be happier with this mattress! It actually arrived a day earlier than expected, which was such a nice surprise and set the tone right away for a great experience. From the first night, I noticed a huge difference in comfort. It has the perfect balance of support and softness, and I’ve been sleeping more soundly than I have in a long time. The biggest win for me has been my back pain—since switching to this mattress, I’ve felt a significant improvement and wake up feeling much more refreshed instead of stiff and sore. Overall, this has been one of the best purchases I’ve made for my health and sleep quality. I would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, supportive mattress!

Expanded quickly when opened (use the cuttimg tool that it comes with to open the plastic wrap). This picture is it sitting for 24 hours. Comfortable to lay on but will let it sit for the full 72 hours before making the bed. Has a bounce to it but firm. No wierd smell. Well worth the $169 for a guestroom bed .
