Our mattress was getting on in years, and my husband and I didn't want to buy a new one because of a recent surgery and it's associated costs. We decided to 'settle' for a 'cheap mattress' to tide us over for a little while so we could save up for one of the 'better' and more expensive ones.... Wow, were we completely wrong! There's no need at all to spend close to if not more than $1k on a mattress. This one is like sleeping on a firm cloud. The top layer of foam is softer and cushions you just right, and the base foam is much firmer and gives the support your body needs to stay comfortable. When you combine the two, you get a mattress that is amazingly comfortable that you won't want to get out of. Granted, the box was about 80-85lbs, but my husband was able to get it upstairs by himself, though he admitted it would have been easier with a helping hand. Unboxing wasn't too difficult, as we have the space, so we rolled it out and carefully slit the plastic that vacuum seals it down to a few inches thick and let it expand for a little over 24 hours. The instructions state that you should wait 3 days, but no one has the time or space to let a mattress lay on the floor that long. It wasn't needed. Once you stop seeing wrinkles in the cover, you're good to go. We tossed the old one, and put on fresh sheets and were treated to our best nights sleep in quite a while. Our old mattress was a tulo queen size and we paid 3x as much for it years ago. There is no comparison, this new mattress beats it hands down. I recommend turning it every couple of weeks, as it keeps your mattress nice and firm, though I don't know about flipping it... that would put that super soft top layer on the bottom and would kind of defeat the point of even having it. It's been a couple of weeks now, and we have slept super well every night. As the title states, don't hesitate and buy it. You can't beat this kind of comfort for such a low price. I bought this mattress hoping to improve my sleep, but it has been a total disappointment. At first it seems comfortable, but as the days go by, you realize that it doesn't offer the support it promises and feels much lower quality than what you see in the photos. Exactly after the first month, the mattress completely lost its shape; now it sags horribly in the middle and I wake up with a lot of back pain. Since the 30-day trial period has already passed, the brand no longer offers any solution or exchange, so you are left with a useless product. For a 12-inch mattress, it doesn't have the necessary firmness and the edges are very weak, so you feel like you're going to fall off if you get close to the side. I don't recommend it at all; it has been a waste of money and now I have to look for another one that actually works. ... show more

A little too firm than I would like. It's not really "plush" but still very comfortable, and whisper quiet. Thinking it will last longer because of its firmness? For me the 12" was overkill because it is fairly firm. I'm 210 pounds and could have got a 8" maybe even 6" with same results. Save yourselves some cash if you don't need the height. Slept on it same night received no problems. Expanded to size within hours so don't worry about that. They are heavy. Even my twin so I suggest opening it out of package on your bed. Especially if in a trailer like me where space is tight. I have degenerative disc disease and this mattress definitely helps. I'm in less pain in the morning. And that IS why I bought it so very pleased about that. Had it for about a month and still feel was worth the cash and wasn't that expensive. Definitely would buy again, but just a medium plush if available. Great product so far!! Was leary because of some reviews, but didn't apply to me at all. I let it rest for 24hrs to fully fill out. 1st night it felt stiff and more firm than I am used to but after a few days I feel very comfortable as the mattress conforms to my body and I sleep very well.
