I purchased the FDW 8 Inch Twin Mattress, Medium Firm, and I am very satisfied with it. The mattress strikes a great balance between softness and support. It is firm enough to provide proper spine alignment but still comfortable enough to sleep on without feeling too hard. I wake up feeling well rested and without aches. The mattress comes neatly compressed and was easy to set up. Once unrolled, it expanded quickly to its full size and shape. The materials feel high quality, and the surface is smooth and comfortable. Definitely firm but still very comfortable. You will definitely sink down quite a bit if sitting upright for a while, but it returns pretty quick. Inflated very quick upon unboxing, dimensions fairly accurate to size ordered. So far only gripes I have about it is it seems to hold heat a lot? Not entirely sure because it is Summer but compared to my last mattress it gets a bit uncomfortable with my heat. That and the cover thing that comes with it, while it is a nice feature my cat's claws constantly get stuck in it and the fibers seem to pull out easily. Lot of loose fiber nubs sticking out already in the month or so of use. The main reason I like this mattress though is it's all foam, one of the only affordable ones I've seen where 95% of the thing isn't crappy coil springs that wear out quickly. While most of it is "support foam," it's still nice being so thick with actual cushion. I would recommend specifically the 10" size as it seems the rate of actual memory foam they offer per size doesn't increase much, less value in it. A bit weird of a policy since you'd be paying more.. would expect some more quality foam. Suppose it's due to width increasing making increased memory foam being more spread out. Overall pretty good bed, would recommend. ... show more

The mattress arrived in time and is heavier than I expected. I let it rest for 24hrs to fully fill out. 1st night it felt stiff and more firm than I am used to but after a few days I feel very comfortable as the mattress conforms to my body and I sleep very well. I don’t write reviews unless something truly earns it — and this mattress has earned it for five straight years. This thing is soft without being “sink into oblivion,” supportive without feeling like a gym mat, and somehow puts you to sleep faster than scrolling your phone with one eye closed. You know that moment where you think, I’ll just rest my eyes for a second? Yeah. That’s this mattress. It’s also shockingly hardy. Five years in, it still feels great — no sagging, no weird dips, no “why does my back hate me now?” mornings. Which is exactly why I just bought another one for my son Jackson’s room. When you find something that works, you don’t gamble — you double down. If this mattress were a person, it would tuck you in, say “you’ve had a long day,” and knock you out cold. Worth every penny. These are just okay. If it weren’t such a hassle to return them, I might do it. I’ve bought other mattresses on here that were much better quality, but for the price I suppose this is about as good as it’s going to get. I’ve had these for about a month now and they truly don’t expand out to 8”. The pictures of the two mattresses on the floor were about three days out of the packing (which was dirty and left little stains on the mattress, see photo), and you can see it has barely inflated to 5”. The picture of the single mattress on the floor was immediately after I removed it from the packaging. It’s a medium level of firmness, which I like—not too soft and not too heavy for a small lady like me to move around. Not a lot of noise. I’d probably say these are closer to a 3.5 but if you’re in a pinch, these are good for the price and convenience. ... show more
