Pretty comfy, you might want thicker than 6” as an adult, but I could see myself sleeping okay on the 5” if it’s all I had. However, it’s perfect for my 2 year old. Writing a review because i was so nervous about getting this bed and it not being what I ordered. I ordered it quickly without reading reviews (which I always do) then was quickly trying to cancel because of what I discovered other people had said in reviews. Unfortunately it was to late to cancel so I had to just waot and see what showed up. I can say I'm very pleased with my order. It had no bad smell. Expanded quickly and to the full 10inches. Ordered it for my toddler but so comfortable my husband said he wanted to sleep on it haha. It arrived 6 days early and is just great. I feel bad for the people with bad orders but so glad mine showed up in perfect condition. Definitely 5 stars! ... show more

Finding the right mattress thickness for a top bunk can be tricky, as you want to maximize headroom and ensure the safety rail remains effective. This mattress nails it. It offers a surprising amount of comfort and support despite its slim profile. My child sleeps soundly on it, and I feel confident that they are getting adequate rest. The thinner design is ideal, keeping the mattress well below the top of the safety rail, which is a huge plus for peace of mind. Installation was a breeze due to its lighter weight and manageable size. The only reason it's not a full five stars is that, while great for a bunk bed, it might not be the ultimate in plush luxury for an adult or main bed.
