my son bought this for a Christmas gift for his 8 year old brother. It was very hard to put together. The pieces are very small and don't stay in place. His brother was so excited to get this and even with two adults helping to build the robot, we still had trouble.

The media could not be loaded. The permanence is non-existent past motor assembly. The motor doesn't provide enough power to run the entire assembly. You get what you pay. In this case, a puzzle which doesn't function from beginning to end. As for durability, the pieces are pretty sturdy. However, you won't learn much beyond engineering. Overall, I would say it is junk, which is why it was added to my kids broken item junkyard.
