💯 hatch rate on this! Hatched all 8 I put in, humidity can fluctuate but very easy to control, in the 12 egg one there is a chamber for water, keeps it more stable! If you have hard water I recommend getting a big jug of distilled water, had to replace the straw but no big deal. My daughter did this all so I’m very proud she hatched the babies 🥺❤️

We have been hatching quail and chicken for 6 years now, multiple times a year. We started with an incubator which had a required styrofoam outer covering, and have always had close to a 100% hatch rate. When we lost the cord to that incubator we decided to purchase this one. This one has been a nightmare since the beginning, and through multiple cycles have not been able to keep everything working and consistent. Yes, we have multiple hydrometers within the machine to keep tabs on all levels. Our hatch rate with this machine has been around 3-5 out of 30 quail eggs! Then we generally lose or have to cull most of those due to defects created during lockdown or hatching due to disregulation in temperature & humidity. This is awful! The turner won’t turn on… it works when you push the button to test it, but the actual turning function won’t turn on. The humidity tube thing broke after the first batch of eggs, so I have to keep a spray bottle by the machine. You cannot silence the alarms… so when we’re at lockdown and I add water through the top to keep humidity where I need it the machine just screams because it’s gage is off, and so it thinks the humidity is too high when it’s barely high enough. Honestly, we’ll probably just trash this and go back to our original. It isn’t even worth giving away.

It doesn’t hold 24 duck eggs that is for sure. Eggs need to be flat on the tray in order to “roll”. I really like the candle light. It is conveniently located, very bright and easy to use.

honestly worked really well, i was able to hatch baby chicks. i had to do some research on another website to see how to actually activate everything. but other than that, worked well.

The product works as expected. I can incubate 12 large to extra large eggs comfortably. The temperature holds relatively well so long as it is not in a drafty area. Humidity is good as well through the entire incubation time. I suggest keeping the styrofoam for added insulation and storage.

How do I fix this "EE" error message for humidity control? Be using it less than a week, and the humidity control dispensing "rotar" is no longer working it seems. Is there any easy fix?
