Bought this as a supplement to our overhead AC in the Food Trailer. It's amazing, we can get by without using the overhead most days. Blows cold, is quiet and moveable if needed. It's heavy to lift but it's worth it once in position. The remote is just an added bonus. Very Efficient and a great buy! It is a little wonky putting the exhaust out a camper type window but we made a custom cover for it so it's all good. Definitely would recommend!

I recently purchased this 12,000 BTU portable AC for $269 with a coupon—astonishingly just $1 more than the 10,000 BTU Honeywell unit I bought back in 2017. What’s even more impressive is that despite being 20% more powerful, it’s at least 30% (if not >) smaller than the old Honeywell. Setting it up was a breeze, and it cools efficiently with straightforward controls. The remote works flawlessly, and I love the vent placement, which I find superior to the typical top-position vents on most portable ACs. While it offers only low and high fan speeds, missing a mid-range setting, it’s not a major issue. One minor downside is that when the room reaches the desired temperature, the unit stops completely instead of switching to fan mode for continuous air circulation. Although I prefer constant airflow, this isn’t a deal breaker. Noise-wise, it’s quieter than my old Honeywell on both speed settings. My previous unit excelled in automatic water evaporation—I only had to empty the tank twice in eight years during extremely humid spells. Time will tell how this new unit performs in that regard. Finally given the fact that this is a no-name Chinese brand which may or may not exist in a couple of years or even over the one year warranty period--I’m taking a risk it’s manufactured at a minimum standard acceptable standard of quality and doesn’t fall apart or start giving problems soon. We shall see.

First box was missing the window installation kit, but the replacement included all parts. Once we had everything, the installation was very easy. Also easy to remove the window piece and move the unit around the house. Works fantastic in the bedroom, but also is effective in the open dining/kitchen/living room by using a box fan to extend the air flow. Works well as a dehumidifier. We have the drainage tube leading to a two gallon bucket that has to be emptied once a day in Michigan in July. I imagine that it more traditionally humid areas, it would need to be emptied more, but that proves it's pulling the water out of the air.

This is an updated review (2025) after purchasing this item last year (2024). This unit worked perfectly upon its arrival last year; however, it stopped blowing cool air this year (14 months later). I contacted customer support and spoke with Monica. She communicated with me daily and kept me updated on the status of my grievance report/claim. To my surprise, Life Master offered me a new A/C unit as a replacement! I was shocked and speechless. Why was I shocked? Unfortunately, we live in a societal space where many companies tend to shy away from corporate responsibility to consumers by not standing behind the quality of their product/service or using the time period stamp as a crutch to dismiss technical/mechanical issues that arise after purchases are made. But not this company... LIFE MASTER IS TRULY AN INTEGRITY FILLED COMPANY THAT CARES ABOUT THEIR PRODUCTS AND THEIR CUSTOMERS! The decision to replace my inoperative unit after the 1-year warranty expired told me a few things about Life Master: 1) they stand behind the quality of their products, 2) they care about their customers, 3) they executed positive resolution to my issue promptly, 4) they demonstrated integrity, confidence, quality leadership, and ethical corporate responsibility, and lastly 5) they kept a household/family cool during the hot summer days. I have nothing but the utmost respect and absolute praise for Life Master. They are rare and invaluable in the business sector when it comes to delivering excellence in every area of service!

So I live in Florida, and my home AC isn't working the best right now, blowing hot air and all. So I bought this "Lifemaster LMPAC10 10,000 BTU Air Conditioner" AC for my room and its been a LIFESAVER. It blows strong and cold air, and compared to two other ac units I've used, this one blows stronger and makes no condensation which is a huge plus. One of the other ac units I've used makes so much water that I had to drain it every few hours. This one reuses the condensation to cool off the condenser so you can use it all day long, check the drain port, and literally nothing comes out. That fact alone makes this ac better than some others you will see here. The size of the AC is another good thing, I have used others that blow less air and are way heavier and wider than this one. This ac is a simple cube and doesn't take up too much space. It has your usual cool, fan, and dry modes. I never use dry mode really, just cool and fan, and I usually have it on low unless its really hot and needs to be on high. While this ac doesn't have wifi, it does have a timer function and I do use that when I go to work and know how long I'll be out the house for (so I can set it to turn on by the time I'm back home) or set it to stay on for an hour or two when I go to bed so it can turn off while I sleep. The filter barely gets dirty at all but I check on it every 2 or 3 weeks. Remote works well and has a built in screen which is nice, so you can see what the setting of the ac is on. Thats about all I can think of, it works well :)
