I had previously bought a tent from Walmart for the same price and had to return it because of how poorly packaged it came and the built quality was poor. I decided to give this canopy a try and I am very pleased with how well it came packaged ,the built quality and the fact that it came with instructions. On the day that we need to use it, the leg broke. We tried to work with the broken leg because it’s too late to order a new one. We have a canopy that we can’t use at all.

I used this canopy while camping at a Renaissance festival and was really impressed. The setup was quick and easy, and the canopy stayed secure. It provided plenty of shade, comfortably fitting a picnic table and chairs underneath. It was a good height, and it had good ventilation, so it never felt stuffy. Packing it back into the carrying bag was simple, and it stores compactly. Overall, it’s a durable, convenient, and practical canopy that I’d highly recommend for camping, beach days, or any outdoor gathering.

I’m an out of shape, 50-something woman who was pretty skeptical about being able to put this canopy up but myself. But low and behold, I can!!! Ok, but can I take it down by myself and get it back into the handy rolling bag??? Well, yes I can!!! Thank you for making me feel like I can do anything! This canopy seems pretty sturdy. But I haven’t put it into action yet, I just wanted to make sure I could put it up by myself. As other reviews state, you’ll need to fill the sand bags up. But you will need to anchor it, which I’ll try to figure that out on another day. So far this gets my glowing review! I have a vendor event at the end of the month and will update the review then. But the feeling of accomplishment made this a great purchase so far!

I wish it were stronger, but if you take good care of it, you will be happy. I love the way it pops up. I use a long cardboard tube, stand under the center of it, use the tube to push up in the center, and it pops into place nicely, all by myself. Don't let people help you, they'll just tweak it by raising it unevenly. Always stake it down, and lower it when not in use. Uneven deployment uneven undeployment, and wind when unstaked are what kill these things.

Package arrived nicely packed and with all accessories. Set it up once, the consumer does need to attach the roof cover with sewn in Velcro straps. I would suggest doing this first, before going out into the field. If a breeze is blowing it would certainly be challenging as a solo set up. Haven’t had a chance to try it out in rain, but everything looks good. I’m 5’8”, and my bare head (no hat) brushes the underside of the structure when entering. I thought the frame looked strong and well made. Satisfied.
