I work in EMS and we're taught to never carry a stethoscope around your neck because you can be choked with it. Because of this, I keep my stethoscope in a pants pocket, but that causes the ear tips to catch things and occasionally get pulled off. I needed very tight replacements that won't get pulled off. These work great. I've ordered them before and am reordering. They're very tight on the Littmann Cardiology IV and unlikely to come lose or accidently get pulled off. The plastic is a little on the hard side and not as malleable or as comfortable as I'd like, but I suppose I can't have it both ways where the plastic is soft enough to be comfortable and form to the ear yet hard enough to grip the metal. I bought these because I lost the softer, comfy ones I bought for my Littmann. They work alright but are harder and less comfortable than what I replaced. At least they come in packs of 10 because I've already had to replace 2—nothing to do with their quality but I pocket my ears so they've gotten caught on whatever as I exit the ambulance. Overall, not bad and worth the money but I'd prefer something more comfortable in the future. ... show more
