The media could not be loaded. Just installed one of two and I feel like a fool for not knowing about these before. I live in a house where the previous tenant broke the globe light fixtures leaving only a bare bulb in several places. Issues are three-fold: the single bare light bulb is simultaneously too bright and not difffuse enough; I hate globe lights because they're ugly; replacing any portion of these fixtures is a pain to me and my landlord. Do I buy another globe that I hate? Get my landlord to replace the fixture and consign myself to an equally ugly boob light and have people running around my home during the pandemic? I found these lights while I was looking at various light fixtures on amazon and thought I'd try them. They're cute enough; sleek and sort of generic. Just the right kind of design to completely fail to grab the eye- total opposite of jutting globe and boob fixtures. It fits in any modern setting. Perfect! The pull string is functional and feels secure; when in the on position it behaves as a regular bulb. Excellent! It's light enough that I can install it one handed. Convenient! And I dont have to check in with my landlord to install them! These all make for a 5 star item, but the best part is the light quality. GOODBYE SEASONAL DEPRESSION! These lights really do have a lovely daylight cast- if you are like me and you start falling asleep under fluorescent lights then let me assure you the daylight is real! Tell your friends! College students! Fellow basement dwellers! Aspiring but poor interior designers! Look at this! These are such a great buy I'm shocked I haven't heard of these before. These lights are excellent! We are finishing out the inside of a small 310 ft² cabin to live in while we build the house we want. We just needed two of these. The pull chain meant we needed less wiring. We chose them because they are integrated L.E.D. and supposed to be very bright. We were not disappointed at all. We had the electrician install them while he was wiring the house. They were very easy and simple. Our electrician like that a lot. He liked the design too and said they were a smart choice. I could even install them if I need. Which is impressive since I do not know jack about electrical wiring. They run very little power. All our lights are L.E.D. The front porch light, the two flood lights, our attic light, and these two. After a week of having power to our house/property and running all of them, nothing else except a radio and charging our phones, we only used 8 kilowatts of electricity. Item is easy to install and works great, but unfortunately I ordered the 2 pack and one of the bulb covers showed up cracked with a hole in it. The one that was in working order I mounted and looks really great, just wish that both were in working order. Have contacted the seller so will update review once I hear back. *****UPDATE***** Contacted the seller about the broken item and they replaced it very quickly with no hassle at all. They did right by me so wanted to update. I did open the new box and there wasn't a broken light cover so we're all good now! Thanks Bulbeats! ... show more

I had a bunch of exposed light bulbs in closets with a multi-unit I bought, which is a fire hazard. All had pull chains. This was the only product that I could find to accommodate. They work great & look great. Since there were already porcelain ceiling sockets, these just screwed right in. My only concern is what to do when the LEDs burn out. Not sure if you can buy replacements or have to replace the whole light. Also the cord is really short, so I bought chains to hook on. ... show more

I am perfectly satisfied with the product. My pantry and laundry room both had bare ceiling bulbs, and none of the clip-on shades or globes I looked at suited what I wanted. It does have one odd behavior that makes no difference to me, but might to someone else. When the light is off, it continues to glow very softly - reminiscent of a glow-in-the-dark product. If it is actually drawing power, the amount would be insignificant. But if you don't want something with an afterglow, just a heads up. ... show more

The lamp we bought had an accident with kids. The plastic lens cracked, pieces came off. However, the lamp still worked. Did a patch with the pieces & tape. Contacted seller to see if could buy replacement lens. Lens not sold separately. Had to buy the whole unit (lens, light and casing) which screws on lamp. The replacement came only in a set of two, but that's okay. We now have spares. ... show more

This fixture screws onto a regular porcelain socket. I love that it has a pull chain, so I can turn a socket into a self-switched fixture instead of using a wall switch. Good for a standard depth closet, not a walk-in IMO, it's just not super bright.
