After testing pretty much all "over the counter" ceramic style products this is my first attempt at a long term solution thus my expectations. This product was packaged well and comes with clear instructions. I did a full clay treatment and paint correction before applying to ensure I was starting with a clean and prepped surface to give this product its fair shake. It went on smooth and easily. Following the instructions, comes off just as easy. If you take on too large of a surface and let it start to dry too much it can be more difficult to take off, naturally. The 50 ml bottle lasted just barely over two applications on my small car. Initial impressions: I'm underwhelmed. Decent beading when it was rained on, but little to no water sheating and it doesn't repel dust/ make dusting easier anywhere near as well as I expected. I absolutely don't expect this product to last more than a few months. However, I won't find out as I've already sprayed turtle wax ceramic spray on top (which is the best spray ceramic on the market in my educated option). This will allow for the ease of dusting I'm looking for. Overall I'm still giving four stars for the ease of use and shine it gives after properly treated. Really easy to use. It's enough to do maybe 2 cars or 1 suv. It's easy to apply and easy to wipe off. My car is garaged and never driven in bad weather but we do get a lot of dust here in AZ. Obviously for best results wash the clay the car then use this product. Works great at restoring faded black trim too. ... show more

    • you can do it... not as hard as detailers would have you believe
Does an amazing job on all automotive surfaces: rubber, glass, painted, and black plastic. Will restore faded black to rich/dark again and was able to do my car by myself in about an hour. With another person it would have been just 30 minutes. I recommend getting some additional lint free cloths for application to wrap around the included sponge thing since the one they include gets chewed up fairly quickly. -- Wash your car, then weirdly wipe the whole thing down in rubbing alcohol. Feels wrong but necessary to get a good application. You can do larger sections than they say you can since the stuff doesn't flash off too quickly. Minimum of 30 seconds dwell time and maximum of about 2 minutes. Have a strong flashlight handy to look for unbuffed parts otherwise you'll end up with a somewhat visible high spot where the coating is thick and stands proud of the substrate. I've bought this stuff like 3x now and use it on lots of things. If you supplement the coating with some of the ceramic specific detailing sprays that "recharge" coatings, you'll get good longevity from an application. If not, I'd say the hydrophobic quality lasts maybe 6 months. ... show more

I was able to get good coating on my Silverado but not so much on my Tesla. Possibly because Tesla paint is too soft
