That’s why it is a roomy 10’ x 15’, and includes a tarp and shade cloth, so our good pups can take a nap in the shade when the mood strikes. Hefty 17-gauge pipes keep them contained and safe. What chain-link should be purchased to complete the Best Friend Kennel? We recommend you purchase 4' or 6' (depending on your choice of kennel) by 50' 11.5-gauge American Made chain-link. Higher gauge or lower quality chain-link may not be tough enough to keep your dog contained and safe. Should I get the 4' or 6' tall kennel? That all depends on if your dog likes to jump fences. The 6' version is a good way to play it safe. If you're on the fence (pun intended), purchase the 4' version, and if that isn't tall enough, add coyote rollers to the top to help contain your pup.
