- The BW7 camera system can be used as a back-up camera (wiring to the reverse lights) or and observation system (wiring to the running lights). Make sure you have whatever lights the camera(s) are wired too on when testing the cameras. If you have it connected to the running lights, then the running lights need to be on for the cameras to receive power. This is a common thing that gets overlooked when testing the camera.
- For GMC/Chevrolet/Ford Owners: Newer GM vehicles use PWM power signals that will disrupt video transmission, causing flickering signal loss or freeze up. For stable performance, we recommend adding a Furrion 7-way adapter (not included) or 12V PWM filter (not included). These accessories clean the power supply for reliable operation. Tip: Not required for most other vehicle brands. To identify if PWM in your vehicle. Check your vehicle manual or ask your dealer about "PWM tail lights".
- Wireless Transmission: The BW7 system wirelessly transmits video between the camera and monitor (no video cables required). However, both units require wired power connections to ensure stable power supply and consistent performance, which is crucial for the camera to function properly. Works well as a backup camera. Fit on my Jayco RV with no problems. finding a place on the dash of my Ram truck is a bit difficult. I purchased the side mounted cameras but don't us them, would not recommend getting them.

I purchased these in November to replace my old cameras. I purchased this and two side cameras for my Airstream. I had a couple of issues with parts not in the package but the vendor responded very well and provided the parts with just an email. Five stars for customer service. the cameras took a little effort to mount without adding new holes to my trailer but I managed to get them on and working. One problem that is yet to be resolved is, keeping the rear camera water tight. The adds show it mounted on the Airstream but at when mounted on the curve the screw holes angle upward and will not drain. It is clear this was designed for a flat vertical wall mount. I will have to use sealant in the screw pockets to try and keep water from leaking past the screw heads and down between my walls. The top of the camera also has a negative slope so that water will pool there as well. This was solved with a little sealant between the camera and the rubber seal pad. Pairing is a time consumer and was difficult after install. I had paired the units in November when I first received them but the pairing had been lost while in storage. In order to pair them they must be powered 1 at a time during the process. After install I had to open front coweling to get to the wiring to power off the side cameras to get them paired in the proper order. This will have to be worked out if they lose pair connection quickly. Don't know how long they will retain pairing after powering down the monitor. Flipping through the views is time consuming. The channel button has to be depressed to get through all of the single channels before showing the side by side. It would be good to be able to limit the view to Rear view then a side by side of the side cameras only and not have to scan through all options. In all it is a good value for the quality of the build. Factory options cost 2 to 3 times more.

This is a great product. Far superior to the Furrion camera/display. The frame rate is better and the display is much brighter and the brightness can be adjusted. This is a much superior product at a fraction of the price. The only issue is that the mounting holes do match the Furrion mounting holes but this product uses smaller screws plus the base is a bit higher. For those two reasons I did have to drill new holes, but that was very easy to do.

Camera works great. No issues at all. BT strength works from the back of my 20' camper to my truck dash perfectly. Just angle the camera all the way out for a video rear view mirror. Really helps in traffic to see who and what is coming up and around you.

Game changer replacement for the factory installed Lipert rear camera that hardly worked with my cell. It's a fantastic safety feature to have a dedicated display of everything going on behind you as well as a parking assist to back the 30' trailer while seeing the wife's hand motions in real time. The only drawback is on the road it sometimes freezes for a few seconds (probably lost signal due to distance)
