  • Awesome Success
Size: 100W
My boyfriend and I both use CPAPs and we went in a trip to the boundary water backcountry for 8 days. Out battery packs last 4-5 days before needing to be recharged. The battery packs have a charge controller built in and recommended a solar panel of 100W. It was fantastic because I used my military ruck sack as my pack for the trip and it fit perfectly in the ruck without taking up much room. It got rained in and continued to work and dried out pretty quickly when the sun came out. On a sunny day we we’re able to charge the battery pack enough that it last two days before needing recharged again. Would highly recommend. The pocket holds all different kinds of charging cables. We also charged our smaller battery packs and phones, but it was used almost solely to charge our 96000mAh battery packs. ... show more

  • Worked admirably but with a concerning issue
Size: 200W
I ordered 2 of these 200 watt solar panels to use on a week long island kayak camping trip charging 2 LiFePi4 batteries with an MPPT charge controller. I went with these panels due to their portability, size and weight vs conventional framed glass solar panels and while they worked during the entire trip each one did develop hot spots which I originally thought was pine sap dropping from the trees. After the trip they test at about 178 watts each when cool and drop to 158 and 164 watts once they warm up which is acceptable but the hot spots are a concern as it’s a precursor to failure and has left the underlying cell exposed to the elements. I have reached out to Shinegiant in hopes they warranty these so I can continue to use these on camping trips. Other than this minor flaw I am very happy with these panels. Review will be adjusted based on the outcome of how warranty is handled. ... show more

  • Incredibly efficient for how light/portable!
Size: 200W
After about a month of testing this panel with my Goal Zero Yetis, I am very impressed! It is very efficient, where I have seen a peak input of 195 W at times, but certainly an average of about 170 W off of my roof in peak hours on ideal days. The efficiency is incredible for how light and portable this panel is. Another plus for the compatibility of this panel, with the multi-connector cable. I would highly recommend this for a portable charging setup. My specific use case is camping, which I've done a few times; I have tested it more at home, off of my roof. ... show more

  • This solar panel exceeded expectations.
Size: 200W
This solar panel delivers! I was able to easily set this up on a sunny midday and got better than expected results. I wasn't being too precious about positioning the panels just right and was able to average around 175W of output. I even saw at times it peaked over 190W so I'd say these panels are highly efficient. (I believe 196W was the highest I recorded.). I'm super pleased by the results and the price was better than most comparable portable panels I shopped for. ... show more

  • Not compatible with camper plug
Size: 100W
It said they could plug into the camper outlet. I bought the thing from Harbor Freight that reverses the wiring since the Aliner outlet is, for whatever reason, reversed to the way solar panels are wired and I sm NOT buying the same solar kit for triple the price from Aliner. That being said this kit had no way of plugging into that outlet even with adapters. I don't want to open the battery box and charge it that way. I returned it. It's unfortunate because I loved it for size and portability. I want one like that for campgrounds with no power hookups at least we could have lights. I gave it three stars for portability. Couldn't go highet because I couldn't use them. ... show more

  • 85% conversion efficiency
Size: 100W
I got this solar panel to supplment my 60W panel. The first time I test its output power. When the sun was fierce, I adjusted the angle of the solar panel to get a maximum output power of 85W, so its efficiency is about 85%. My 60 watt panel produced 39 watts for 65%. This conversion efficiency is very good. ... show more

  • Working well. 175 watts no problem.
Size: 200W
Works great during testing. Very lightweight. Kickstand is a little delicate but able to make it work in the grass. 175 watts out the gate in 40 degree sunny weather. Will see about durability over the summer. Definitely need extensions.

  • So Easy to Use~!
Size: 200W
We bought this solar panel to charge our Shinegiant portable power station while we're boondocking in our converted bus. It was so easy to set up and connect and did the job perfectly~! We already had solar panels on the bus for keeping our starter batteries powered, but, especially when it's cold, we didn't have enough power to keep our phones charged and use our computer. Also, we have a folding e-bike that we can charge with it. So handy, and folds up nice and tidy and we can store it behind the drivers seat - doesn't take up any room~! ... show more
