What wire gauge specifications does the product apply to? For wire diameters of 1.3-2.5mm and 0.051-0.059 inches, the applicable range is printed on the back of our products. How to use the product? Insert the steel wires according to the arrow on the back of the Wire Joiner to connect the two wires. How do I disassemble this wire joiner? You need to cut the wires connecting both ends and pull out the steel wires in the direction indicated by the arrows. Then the wire joiner can be reused.

The quality is nothing like the gripple brand. Most of the fasteners either won't grab the wire or the inner components fall apart. After handling them very carefully, i can get 1 in 10 to work. I've never had a problem with the original gripple.

I have never used these before and they didn't come with instructions. I stuck the wire in the wrong hole and it shot the innards (springs etc) out into the field, never to be found again. The second attempt went a little better. I think there are better solutions out there for me to connect electric fence wires. ... show more

I had some runs of electric fencing to put together and we usually just tie the ends of one roll to the next with a series of knots. I’m always afraid of one of the cows unintentionally backing into the fence and putting enough pressure to break the tie. So when I saw these I decided to give them a try. They are very easy to use as long as you make sure your wire end is cleanly cut and not frayed. And insert it slowly and carefully. I tested them out at the office using a paper clip first just to understand how they worked and I am fairly confident that they will hold. Once you push the wire through the grip area there is no pulling it back out, assuming you are using the correct 1.3 to 2.5mm wire. However, being that we are dealing with animals and I am not restricted in length of available wire, I will still tie the end after it exits the gripple. I will update if any of the gripples fail with pressure. ... show more
