  • Wide assortment of items on slides
This item consists of 100 of small, very small, and microscopic specimens from a very wide range of plants, human tissues, small animals, microbes. Each slide has a painted section on one side with slide label clearly written. Packed extremely well. I had one box partially crushed but storage case and all slides were undamaged. I have yet to find a study guide to go with this, something to explain with more than a few words what the specimen is, what is it a part of, how does it live/function, what details in the slide you should look for, things that would help the user to self-educate. ... show more

  • Great value for the money
My great granddaughter loves science and last year for her birthday I gave her a nice microscope, this year another 100 slides. She couldn't wait to start looking at them.

  • excellent variety, well prepared, clean slides, sturdy box, well packaged
The excellent variety has my boys aged 7 and 11 fascinated; the slides are well prepared and clean, the plastic box seems durable, the slides fit smoothly into all the slots, and the product came very well packaged as is suitable for such a fragile product. Highly recommended over smaller sets due to the wider variety of specimens. ... show more

  • good quality slides for the money
my 8 year old loves these slides, he has been learning so much and he loves these. He has looked at them so many times over and over! They are good quality for beginners and have a wide array of specimen.

  • Professionally prepared slides
This collection is great for home educational / hobby use. The assortment of specimens is wide enough to be able to compare / contrast different types of organisms, structures, cells. Some slides really are large specimens that you could use a dissecting style microscope for a larger view, while others are great for going to 400X plus and seeing good detail. Overall pleased with the set. Some slides felt a bit sharp around the edges, so need to watch how you handle them, seem to be a bit of lower quality than I would have expected. The Plastic case also is not the best, and the latch does not want to click unless you really push on it. Would have expected a bit better case for the price point. Overall a good addition to the home science kit. ... show more

  • Box is brittle/cheap, specimens look good
Product arrived next day, happy about that. Literally the moment I opened it one of the two hinges broke off and the other was wobbling anyways so I took that one off too. May want to look into slightly higher quality packaging

  • Wow, Awesome!
These are great! The price was just super, and the slides are of high quality. The views are crystal clear and you can go in for more detail easily. I am so glad I bought these. They arrived well packed and none were broken. I am 100% happy.
