These are going to be great to use when we go catfishing. These hooks are sharp. They feel strong. With a lot of force I was able to bend them a little with a pliers (see picture): however, I was not able to break them. I personally think these will work great for when we go catfishing. It also great that it comes with 100 as we tend to break our line or get our hooks stuck in a tree or in the rocks in the river. I would recommend them. ... show more

If you don't mind doing a little rigging, then this box of 100 hooks is a great deal. The hooks themselves are standard / good quality circle hooks. These are offset point so check the regulation if you're fishing a tournament, but for a casual fishermen like myself they work great for all occasions. I primarily fish in saltwater and this set of 100 hooks will last me a couple seasons. Come well packaged in a nice plastic case to keep them together in your tackle box. These hooks are sturdy and should hold up well when I am salt water fishing. I tried bending them with my hand and they stayed straight. The barb is large enough to hook your catch. The provided plastic case will keep them organized in my tackle box.

This is a very nice pack of Circle Fishing Hooks. The tips are sharp, the shapes are consistent, and the build is quality. I can't think of much else to say beyond that for hooks since those are the most important facts. Nice product and a good value in a 100 pack.

Heavy duty strong hooks and sharp right out of the package. I ordered the 1/0 and have been using them for drop-shotting. Had some finicky bass hitting short or quickly spitting the hooks last week. These hooks for saltwater fishing are really nice. I ordered the 1/0. These are heavy-duty steel which is great for bigger fish. These can be used for freshwater and saltwater fishing. I ordered this specifically for the smart circle design. It will hook them in the corner of the mouth instead of down deep where it is hard to remove. This definitely makes it easier. Used these last night. Didn't catch anything spectacular but they latched on well to everything I did catch. I like the size because they seem good for both small and larger fish. Slid on to my leader easily. For such a good quality, this quantity is a great value for the money.
