This is a really nice, big, light blanket. The size is definitely right for a California King and it is a good warm-weather bed option or a wonderful couch-and-a-movie option as a throw blanket. The waffle design gives it some pattern but the mono-color is under spoken in terms of design and style. For me, I prefer that so I say that positively. It is quite thin, so I would not call this a comforter but more of a light blanket. It is certainly washable as far as the fabric quality goes. However most washers would probably only be able to wash this and nothing else given its size. With all of these features it could function as a living room throw or a summer bed spread. Thus I would say it is quite multi-functional. It could even be useful as a picnic blanket that could accommodate a whole family. It is not the softest material, but that is not a negative thing as I wouldn’t expect this to be given its design and material and usage. For the price I definitely Recommend!

I received the California King size waffle blanket in dark gray, along with three small face cloths tucked inside the package, as a gift. The towels were a thoughtful extra. They’re much thinner than I usually use but still soft to the touch. The blanket is made from 100% Turkish cotton. It’s a lightweight weave, and the waffle texture gives it a clean, modern look. I wouldn’t describe it as soft right out of the package, but I’m hoping it softens with more washes. I’ve washed it once using cool water and low heat in the dryer. There was no shrinking or fading, and it came out just a little softer. The size is generous. I folded it in half and draped it over my large office chair, and it covered it easily. This blanket feels breathable and doesn’t take up much space when folded. I expected something this large to be bulky, but it’s easy to manage. The stitching is clean, and the edges are neatly hemmed. It feels like it was made with care. I’m planning to keep using it as a cover for my chair when I’m reading or listening to podcasts. I am curious to see how it holds up over time. Hopefully, it gets softer with each wash.

I adore this blanket! First I’ll mention the color - I ordered the mint green. Beautiful! Exactly how it looks in the picture description online. It has a very appealing waffle pattern, and is so soft and comfortable! The description says it will only get softer the more you launder it….which I’ve done once. It was so simple & came out beautifully. The construction is hearty and I predict it will be very durable. But my very favorite thing about this blanket is the weight v.s. the warmth. When I first opened the package, I was sure that it wouldn’t be sufficient for my needs. I like to sleep in a cold house and covered up and this blanket just seemed too lightweight. But I was so wrong! It was perfectly warm & I just love the lightness of it. I’ve been dragging it up and down the stairs so I can wrap up in it when watching movies. So I guess eventually I’ll have to get another, as I plan to use this one as a summer bedspread. Very highly recommend!

Got my waffle blanket in dark brown and so far so good. Out of the package there is some tiny brown lint particles on my sheets and pillows but I probably should have washed it first. It is real cotton and feels pretty good. It is also thin and lightweight, which is perfect for my needs as a summer blanket. I got the California king and it is QUITE long and not all that wide so I turned it sideways. In that configuration it is still long enough for me (I don't want it up to the very top of the bed) and wide enough to hang all the way to the floor on both sides. The included instruction card gives washing instructions and suggests that washing will make it softer, so I will find that out soon enough. It won't work when the weather gets cooler, but it is great for summer.

It's not terribly soft, but it does the job. I will probably use it as a picnic or beach blanket honestly. I personally don't think it's worth the price and would look somewhere other than Amazon for a nice, waffle blanket.

It shed a lot in the first wash (I washed it with a sheet and there was a lot of fuzz on the sheet) but that was my own fault for not washing it separately. I haven't washed it a second time to see if it will continue to shed. It's very light and has a knit type blend which makes it perfect for warm weather as it gives more warmth than just a sheet but not as much as a comforter or blanket. It's also very soft. I don't use a top sheet and appreciate how soft and comfortable the blanket is against my skin.

I absolutely love this blanket. The color is even better in person, a very soft, pretty green that leans toward mint. It adds such a calming, fresh look to the room without being too bold or too pastel. It is that perfect in-between shade that works with both neutral and colorful bedding. What really impressed me is how well it fits our unusual bed setup. We have a king and a twin XL bed pushed together to create one giant sleeping space, and this sheet actually fits over both mattresses. The material feels soft and smooth to the touch. It is comfortable enough to sleep on right out of the package and has gotten even better after a couple of washes. It is breathable and not too thick, so it works well in warmer weather but still feels cozy enough for cooler nights. After washing, the blanket came out looking great. The color stayed true with no fading, and there was very little wrinkling and shedding. I dried it on medium heat and it came out soft and fresh, there was a little shrinkage but that is to be expected with this and putting it in the dryer!
