We have one window which has long been a problem. It’s a wide, west-facing recessed window, so heat comes in in the afternoon. And it’s in our master bedroom, so morning light wakes us. I had used a blackout curtain and then a decorative drapery over that on a tension rod, but the combined weight of the blackout curtain and the drapery caused the tension rod to keep tumbling down. This was easy to put up (measure carefully!) using the velcro strips, so now the old blackout curtain is gone. The material is thin, but seems to do a good job of blocking light and heat. Since it’s placed around the window frame, the tension rod now weighs much less and should stay up better. I didn’t find the round circles they provided all that useful, and I resorted to using some double-sided tape instead.

I got this to help for cooling my house where I have a very large dining room window that I haven't bought curtains for yet due to remodeling. I didn't even really clean the walls or follow the directions for the adhesive because I was in a hurry, but it has stayed up for weeks now! It did fall one time but I was able to put it right back up and it continues to stay for days on end. It is so dark! I will say it has a very strong chemical smell at first so you will need to air it out for a couple of days if you intend to put it in a room with a baby or any bedroom really.

Good not great, easy to trim and set up but not a quick put away option. Velcro doesn’t stick to the actual material great, but the material is thick and does block the sun. Smells quite plastic-y and unpleasant for the first couple days. Decent but not great.

This works great. I work night shifts, and I wanted a good low price option to blackout my room while I sleep during the day. This is it! It is easy to cut to size and easy to put up and down with the velcro. It makes my room pitch black. It has a nice little storage bag for when I am not using it. The material is quite thin but feels durable, and if taken care of, it should last a long time. Great purchase and definitely recommend!

I got these because I’m trying to turn a ford wagon into a car camper and need something for the weird 3rd windows to block out light. This kit said you can cut it to any size and it even comes with a cutting tool you can use! It has everything you need to block out a couple small windows or just leave it as is and use the whole sheet. It has literally everything you would need to install it, double sided tape dots and double sided Velcro strips. You might want some normal scissors on hand if you need to do any intricate shapes of cutting though. The material is nice and thick, definitely blocks out the light. I also love that it came with a little bag to keep everything in so I can just keep the rest of it in the car if I need it.

This was easy to cut to size and then put up. It’s decently thick material and does a good job of darkening a room. I haven’t had the need to try and take it down so I don’t know how easy that will be but I can’t imagine much of an issue since it is held up with Velcro which also means it should go back up pretty easily.
