First warm weather of spring so I'm starting to activate my second-floor deck. Have a Shelter Logic 12x20 canopy for about 7 years. Shelter Logic covers last about two seasons. Decided to save 50 bucks with this cover that looked decent in the advertisement. It's lighter gage material and way too lose. Guaranteed the first time it rains there will be 3 to 6 pools up there with a hundred gallons of water in each one. When the Shelter Logic rubber canopy straps got tired, I'd get one pool, so I know what I'm talking about. I'd just add a new bungee to eliminate the pooling. Good possibility of the weight of the water ripping through this lighter material too. It's supposed to rain for three days over the weekend. I'll be back with an update. UPDATE: Well, we had a light drizzle for a couple hours in the evening and the last two photos are the resulting 5 bird bath swimming pools in this slack canopy. Lord knows what a disaster I'm looking at with a thunderstorm. I suspected there was going to be an issue when I saw the bungee straps on the ends as well as the sides. There's no way to tighten this thing up to make it taught & flat. I ordered the correct Shelter Logic for $149.00. The Logic has side to side paracord type draw cords on the ends to take out any slack. So much for my gamble to save $50.00...lol Lost a hundred. SAVE YOUR MONEY UNLESS YOU WANT A HUNDRED DOLLAR TARPULIN! UPDATE#2 ... I took Mule Tape and ran it over the ridge pipe and under the steel frame perimeter pipes to grab the cover grommets as I removed the bungee fasteners. This pulled the canopy tight while there's a bit of "give" in the 1800lb mule tape. I don't know how long it will last or if the grommets will eventually ripe out from the strain, but it has worked so far. Only took about 30 minutes and it's better than just tossing the canopy cover. We had some horrendous wind and rain and the canopy cover worked fine. No damage, no water pooling. I erred on my draw string assessment. They were originally seized in the end pockets and broke loose when I added the mule tape. They DO draw tight. Only issue is the string they use stretches like Elastic Lad. The last few photos show my modification. ... show more

I have a 2022 tiguan Volkswagen SUV. This Carport is just the right size for my car. It's only the size of one car and won't fit a second car. It's waterproof and seems to be of good quality.It doesn't have a frame, you need to buy it locally, the frame I got from homedept cost $190.

This is for a roof having 5'6" or 5'7"" on each side. So works good for that.
